Mag Talk Weekly Shonen Jump [2018] - Discussion and TOC Talk

So does anyone know why Viz is behind on releasing One Punch Man chapters in Shonen Jump? They seem to be behind several chapters but yet still nothing in Jump and they are usually releasing chapters when they just release in Japan. I dont know just curious

I've been a little madman and added both Bozebeats and Actage in the list. I think both of them are going to do well in Jump (also, Gintama spot is going to be soon free, which is going to help one of them)

I don't really follow series like Bozebeats, but it looks like it'll have to beat the curse that other new Jump series of the same genre have suffered. Plus, it seems like something that'd fit in more with the Jump SQ scene, so I wonder what the reception will be in WSJ after a few more chapters have passed. Act-Age is pretty different than what the large majority of WSJ's previous series have been. It looks like they're trying to see if their audience can accept a series similar to how WSM has Runway de Waratte

Well we don’t exactly know the date, but I’m guess probably Fall season at earliest. Where as MHA is just 2 and a half months away

Not only the date, but we don't know any staff members or voice actors, no studio. We only know the anime will cover the first 17 volumes of the manga as a TV series...

It's only been 2 issues since Hinomaru Zumou's anime was announced. Just how much are you expecting to know at this point? The studio is something I'm sure will be announced soon, but other than that, I don't expect any major news for a long time since I don't think it'll air until at least Fall.

You know its weird that there still hasn't been a website registry yet. For Heroaca we knew that an anime was coming because BONES filed a registry for it and this was before the anime's announcement. We should at least know what studio is handling it soon enough.

Maybe the website aspect depends on the producer and the animation studio.

It was only announced a few weeks ago. I thought pretty much every Jump anime took a few months to get all of that info. It took us a while before we had Black Clover info after it's anime was announced

It'll most definitely be 2 cours and it would adapt all 17 volumes. It's doable but definitely will take some time, I doubt it'll happen in 2018.

Dungeon Meshi 3rd year in a row nomination, it might win this time xD. Beside TPN, Dungeon Meshi and Made in Abyss i don't recognize any of the series.

Didnt we have to wait months and months and months to find out who was doing Black Clover? Anime info can be entirely random, some getting everything announced right away. Then extreme cases like Saiki that gets both announced and all its info revealed within just 2-3 months Of it airing.. I wouldn’t expect much.
