Inb4 In 3-5 years from now, we'll be praying Toei adapt WSJ manga? I don't like that though, it's scary. xD

Good to hear that they're getting their shit together, because the low quality stuff they were getting away with as the most profitable anime studio probably ever was getting ridiculous.
inb4 we start begging Toei to animate KnY

I think the new studio played a big role in that

If this is a big improvement from the norm, then I don't want to go back to the anime.
The bar is set so low you can't even see it, since it's that deep into the ground. Any signs of improvement give some slight hope.

I think I've never read any American comics. Since I'm not American, I don't have this obligation although it is published here regularly. Even so, people I've seen commenting it makes me think that American comics are too decentralized for my tastes. A lot of authors create things for a certain franchise, most of the time without any attention to consistency, nobody knows the timeline of everything and it just sounds confusing to me. I like to know that after volume 1 there is volume 2 and so forth like in mangas.

Just a day after Leoat is complaining about the ecchi in WNL we get an ecchi heavy chapter.

Let the ecchi flow freely. :3c
So we have three chapters in a row with excess of ecchi? Well, I do have other romances to read, it is not the end of the world if I have to take measures in the future. I will postpone the purchase of other volumes until further notice, I already have two.

In fact, all that stigma around comics and its "complicated chronology" comes from the propaganda of youtubers who understand nothing of the subject but want to talk about it because it has become popular, as in manga itself. It's pretty easy to follow American comics, actually.
Changing the subject, did anyone there read Rookies? Is it a good sport manga?

It's awesome, Morita is very good with characters and interactions. But the story begins more like a delinquent manga and only later the focus on baseball increases.

I'm not sure if he's serious but that's totally not the norm for Toei (Maybe for One Piece). Most of their talented staff are working on Precure stuff so check that if you want to see what they're usually capable of.

Honestly Hunter x Hunter could outlive One Piece. I personally think One piece will end at volume 120 as the first half is 60 volumes. In the event that Hunter x Hunter continues to have a one volume a year schedule it is definitely a possibility.

For the sake of Hunter fans I honestly hope this doesn't happen. I love the series but the hiatuses resulted in me dropping it after the election arc.
That's only if Togashi lives that long and you're missing out!

Not all American Comics are superhero stories. In fact there are probably more stories that aren't Superhero stories that follow the same format as manga(chapter released monthly. chapters compiled into a volume later). Superheroes are just a big part of American culture

I've read it until chapter 50. I really liked the beginning of Rookies.
The characters are very good.

Talking about sports manga, Hikaru no Go is good?
I need to read other sports series that have been published on Jump.

I accept recommendations.

Yeah I'm sure that Toei can animate well given the size of their company. My post was referring to the quality of the One Piece anime. I'm just a bit annoyed that One Piece, the largest media franchise in 2017, seems to be handled so sloppily.

The only one above Hikaru no Go is Slam Dunk, no joke. Read it right now.

VERY GOOD
but the final arc was cut short due to a scandal/controversy that no one has the right answer/source too.
