while speaking of TOHO Animation, I'm just gonna say I really love how they handle their YouTube channel, they don't region block their videos, they put up the non-credit version of the OPs and EDs, sometimes we gets extra stuff from the channel (They made AMVs of the shows!), they sometimes have MVs of the songs(but I think that mostly depends on the record label) and THEY DON'T REGION LOCK THEIR VIDEOS!

TOHO's channel is literally ahead of its competition, even though it did take them a long time to do it, but still, better late than never, as the say.

I can definitely see an exclusive AMV made out of her performance. Although I would hope it's not an AMV that reuses the clips from the arc, but an entirely new animated video. (4 minutes in a drop in the bucket for Bones right now)

Been in love her character for a long while now. Unfortunately, as far as I know, I can't change my name, so, uh, I guess JustCallKyoka from now on Glad she's been getting more shine lately. Hopefully they do my girl justice when this part is animated.

I've practically given up on Jump Battle Shonen. All the newer entries post MHA (aside from KnY) are all pretty uninspiring and mediocre. The magazine seems to want to be going in a different direction anyways and it seems the readers perfer it this way. Nothing wrong with that though, probably for the better. I like Bozebeats but its pretty much following the same trend all the other canceled ones from the last 3 years have followed.

Ironically Nakano wants more battle shounen and was almost bemoaning the fact that lots of newbies are going for the "twisted road" instead of the "straight" or "royal" road like OP, Naruto, Heroaca, etc. Bozebeats' first chapter was good but beyond that it just didn't excite me. I dropped it by chapter 3 and don't even remember much anymore. It can still bounce back though as it only started getting ranked.

Heroaca has really had an interesting path. It's conventional enough for a shonen but it clearly posseses a quality that separates it from everything else. And the fact that Horikoshi pulled this off somehow is quite the feat.

I have to vehemently disagree with any sentiments that HeroAca has somehow separated itself from previous series and contemporaries that have inspired it. Claiming that it has is an overstated of the highest order and just plain fiction.

Now with the lack of comedies in the magazine, it's time for Shimabukuro start his gag series. I just want to see an ugly MC like Takeshi again, I'm the opposite of SharkBait.

Its a strange time to be where a Jump lineup isn't filled with comedies especially since comedies is what put them on the map.

When you've been in the manga/anime fandom long enough, one's mind can't help but go to "interesting places" when you see images like that. Guess Horikoshi-sensei wanted Kyoka to get a little more love, if you know what I mean

You should go in the Volume Covers thread more often, I've seen the cover from this manga in his avatar there before.

Anyway, you guys expectations are so low that you are thinking that Bozebeats ranking was good? Man, it is terrible, the trend is always to go down after the first chapter and since the first chapter was the best so far anyway, it is done for.

It is a great rating, since we have seen in several examples that series debuted really well and in first but the editors put them in the bottom to try to trip people up. You should fall for the editors tricks as we know the series has explosive popularity and was highly liked with its first chapter. It is simply preposterous to think it will crater or collapse after this. It doing better than series such as RxL speaks volumes as to how well Bozebeats is doing.
