Like the other guy said, because Yuragi got it first. And other romcom like Nisekoi and To Love Ru got their anime before other action/adventure manga in their time too
Which mangas are you comparing? Because you cannot compare two mangas with huge difference in number of chapters. We Never Learn is older just one month, so Dr. Stone can still get an anime before it.

What gives you such confidence. Romcoms are the easiest to adapt without a doubt. Yuragi got an anime very quickly so I won't be surprised if the same happens for Bokuben and for romcoms really top tier staff members or studios aren't required(but they are a nice bonus, but think about it, a high school setting=easy to adapt). Dr. Stone might get a quick anime from Toei like World Trigger did for example :derp ,but the anime would still be a difficult project due to the nature aspect and because the staff will need to put in extra effort because of all the fauna. Animals are hard to draw in animation, they'll need to find a specialist for that for example.
Since when quality has been a concern? :derp
But, seriously, Nisekoi took about 2 years to have an anime, Yuragi was the same and My Hero Academia was the same. Do you think My Hero Academia is easier than Dr. Stone? I don't think so and yet, it took a small amount of time to give it a anime, so much that I myself complained about that. XD
It is not about difficulty, it is about the potential and the interest it gives, Dr. Stone has more potential to grow, no doubt and it is easier for Toei to pick it up.

Nisekoi is a bit hard since the only manga series that get an anime that started serialisation about the same time as it are Haikyuu and Saiki, Saiki got an anime much later, while the gap between Nisekoi's Anime and Haikyu's Anime are almost the same as the gap between their manga Serialisation.

There are almost no series which got an anime around To Love-ru era which saddens me since Mx0(2 issues later!) and Psyren is around that time.

For Yuragi case, Kimetsu is literally 1 chapter apart.

Well, Yuragi is more successful than Kimetsu, the rankings are about the same, except recently, and Kimetsu has a hard time increasing its sales, I've never seen something like that besides sports manga like Hinomaru Zumou. We know that Yuragi will sell a lot of merchandise outside of the magazine for obvious reasons, but Kimetsu and its lack of capacity to sell merchandise, even the most basic ones like its volumes may be a concern for anime studios and sponsors. Will it be able to have a decent revenue in DVD/BD sales and other merchandises? I think it is the reason Hinomaru Zumou took so long and they are still doing it with a lot of risk. It is more likely to be a flop than a success.
However, I will tell you, the anime is saving Yuragi given the most recent rankings.

Yuragi was never in danger, especially after the anime announcement, so I don't know what saving you are talking about. If the manga finishes after that then fine.

I'm pretty sure Kimetsu has had higher TOC placements than Yuuna for a while, but maybe I'm wrong. Maybe Kimetsu's anime will have lackluster sales in terms of merch and BDs, maybe not, I don't even think the producers can guess that. There have been plenty of WSJ adaptations that had lackluster sales for BDs and merch overall and they still got sequels or a lot of episodes or they still got adaptations.

You said that Zumou is more likely to be a flop rather than a success, but that's basically something that all anime deal with, legit almost every anime flops each season. (edit: Yet more anime come out every season somehow :derp )

Kimetsu has been outselling Yuuna for almost 6 months now, and it's sales are pretty much exactly what Black Clover was doing when it was at the same number of volumes... Sure it took a while to get here, but it actually grew, unlike BC and Yuuna which both stagnated after a just few volumes. Yuuna merchandise is indeed a big deal though.

That said, I don't think there are really any rules for what kind of series get animated when. It just happens when it happens. There are too many factors to consider to just say "X should be the next one to get an announcement". For all we know, Dr Stone could get an announcement in a few weeks while Kimetsu has to wait another year plus. It's happened before.

Just realised the oldest thing in the magazine to not have an anime confirmed is barely 2 years old... That is surely a pretty rare occurrence, even for Jump.

What studio is doing this?
Still unknown, surprisingly.

PD: now the only big title from first half of 00s decade with no anime would be Mr. Fullswing.

It has been doing bad recently, if it was not for the anime, I think it would just get worse, that is what I'm talking about.

I don't do TOC averages anymore so I don't know for sure, but I have the impression that they are kinda close from each other. They can, don't underestimate the era of the information. They can get it wrong, but they do know what they should promote more and what they shouldn't. Compare My Hero Academia and Hinomaru Zumou promotions, MHA is a really big deal while HZ didn't even get a cover. Series with more potential and more sponsors will get even more promotion to maximize even more the revenue, while less capable series will get less promotion because they will not waste money without guarantee of return.

You have a point, but there are series that you know will get a decent success, principally when it comes to Jump. Hinomaru Zumou is really a point off the curve.

This looks amazing, they're going all out, aren't they? If I had to guess, it's either Sunrise, BONES or Kinema Citrus. I'll throw in TMS Entertainment for good measure.

Yuragi can end in 6 months if tadahiro wanted too in the condition that he doesn’t introduce any more girls.

But i want a second season for it hopefully.

It'll be none of them most likely. Sunrise only does Mecha or idol stuff. I'm not sure why people keep listing them but they don't do shounen jump stuff anymore. Bones is already overbooked until 2020 and we know their projects for this year. Kinema Citrus is working on a show this summer.

So it can't be them either.

Not sure about TMS Entertainment because they're pretty big but they also have a bunch of shows they're working on this year.

you're not wrong btw. Kaiju refer to a gigantic monster attacking major cities/population.

Toriko isn't a kaiju manga but it has kaiju moment (Four beast arc)

As for example, only thing i can think off of top of my head is the manga adaption of Neon Genesis Evangelion, or Power Ranger stuffs, Ultraman manga
I thought Kaiju isn't strictly just a gigantic monster attacking cities/population. It could be against other monsters too, I remember some Godzilla films had Godzilla fighting another monster like Mothra.

Speaking of Toriko, I felt like the final arc felt like the most kaiju, with the gigantic scale battle of the 8 kings against NEO.

A PV for the Hinomaru Zumou anime. It's not much, but you get to see glimpses of other character designs.
Those designs look solid. It got me pumped at least haha.

You really love downplaying Kimetsu, don't you? I remember you poked fun at Kimetsu's popularity poll taking a while to be released but only to realize it had a huge vote count. Talking about the sales not being impressive but in reality it's doing fine. The increase is slowing down but that's okay. It still sells more than Yuragi and WNL.

It's ridiculous to have a hate boner for a series you never read. Never understood that.

I wonder if the anime of Zumo could increase the popularity of the manga .....
It will but just a matter of how much. I guess if we knew the timeslot and then it will allow for a better guess.

I think the last time I've seen/heard of an anime barely doing anything for the popularity of the manga was elDLIVE.

Do fans want it to get popular? With the way they are reacting to the visual, Id almost think they dont want newcomers to even come to the franchise. Sad.

I think its well aligned to be something that people will at least watch episode 1 of, if they could do the first 3 chapters in episode 1, I think it can hook people.

Of course us fans want it to be popular. Why else did we want an anime? Same deal with Kimetsu. The only people who wouldn't want it to get popular are the anons on /a/ who don't want to lose their precious comfy threads to shippers, shitposters, etc. Just look at the MHA threads and One Piece threads.
