Sorry. I'm just bitter because it's anniversary was two months ago and every other series got ahead of it.

Sad thing about Hungry Marie is that the last 12 or so chapters are quite reminiscent of what made Beelzebub good and it really hit its stride, although it was already too late. Shame it took 20 chapters of shitty intro and a weird battle arc to get there.

Most devastating cancellation in the last 8-9 years was Samon followed by Straighten Up for me. Samon just had the whole package and I really loved its comedy, plus it managed action quite well. Straighten up was just super feel good. Luckily both series got great endings and don’t feel like they were cancelled at all.

Mine was Hoopmen. But that was like 9 years ago (also to the date). Akaboshi's cancellation was real but that may have been me riding the "new action" hype before it was cool (or maybe it's always been cool in this thread).
