I'll say wait until we see the staff of Neverland before we rule anyone out but my suggestion is to expect the the worst.

lol why would Toei do Kimetsu no Yaiba? They'll completely ruin the atmosphere of the manga, its way too graphic and grim

If you are expecting the worst than Xebec will animate it right after Yuuna. Seiji Kishi will be busy at Lerche with Radient(a french manga which I'm waiting to see) and Deen might be not that bad assuming they will get anyone but Junji Nishimura as a director.

I bet on a more exotic choice but I don't know what at the moment.

The studio isn't really that relevant (except in cases like Kyoani, PA Works and some few). It's just a place for the contracted staff of the main committee to work at the studio and what the studio will do is the animation headed by the Animation Director contracted.

What will say if it can be good or not is the staff for it. And of course, pre-production details made by the committee like quantity of episodes and other important questions for creative reasons.

Toriko is far more gory than Kimetsu and still got picked up by Toei. It is kinda weird that Toei isn't picking up on any these new titles. I have seen people say Dr.Stone seems like a Toei title but we'll see.

If only Togashi pumped out 5-6 volumes this year. That plus this Ametalk boost, could possibly end One Piece's #1 streak in the yearly rankings.

How long has OP's streak #1 ranking streak been going on for anyway? AoT came close a few years back and now we may not get a chance of ending it.

Toriko does have more blood/gore than Kimetsu, thats a fact. Kimetsu just has a darker atmosphere over Toriko. Also you've been misunderstanding me, I never said I wanted Toei and I never disagreed with them potentially ruining the atmosphere.

Twin star team is working on Black Clover and Pierrot Plus will be busy with second cour of Tokyo Ghoul in Fall. Studio Pierrot will be animating Gunjou no Magmell in winter most likely so it won't be them either.

Kimetsu will be either Deen or lerche.

Pierrot Plus is famous for outsourcing mostly everything to Chinese or Korean Studios, so TGre second cour doesn't really matter.....

Ushio to Tora was great.

It was? I don't know how it held up as an adaptation but the animation was really bland.

Kakegurui was another recent title I've seen from MAPPA, it was a mess as well. I can't say it'll be garbage for sure in their hands (also depends on the staff) but I think there's a lot more better choices than MAPPA or Madhouse.

I think that only turned out as epic as it was because of the staff's passion (Yamamoto and Kubo specifically) and not because of the MAPPA name. You dont hear people praising or going heads over heels for MAPPA's Days or Altair--

but animation wise Yuri on Ice did have to have significant changes on the final BD version of episodes as some of its episodes did look pretty rough during the airing, some characters received extensive facial redrawings in some episodes.
