Mag Talk Weekly Shonen Jump [2018] - Discussion and TOC Talk

I think the more positive thing is we are in a time where all the established series (spare gintama & hinomaru) running in the magazine can/or will be able to be purchased.

Many other of the major magazines arent in such a state.

I feel like one day we will have the entire magazine in Viz

i dont think theyd ever get the ultra pervy series though.

They got E-Robot, though the jury's out on if anyone actually gave a crap.

Idk how long Yuuna has but since Seven Seas got that I'd imagine Viz can't simulpub it even if they wanted to do the full Jump.

The little details make Kimetsu even more enjoyable.

if heroaca cant cross 1mln with the power of a good air time and the power of bones. then its is highly unlikely neverland can do the same on a niche anime block with *cloverworks*.

good visuals and production only goes so far, if that was all there was, there be hundreds of million selling animes and light novels/visual novels.

The first episode would have to be like Shingeki v1 meme tier.

[De La Croissant]

Whenever I speculate, I fail.

I was sure that OPM and AssClass, which were already selling 500k, would reach 1M in the first few weeks after their respective anime. But nope.

I was sure that the adaptations of WT and Kuroko would have little impact on their sales, but look what happened. Tokyo Ghoul was another surprise.

If they don't hire good VA's then the jokes won't have as much as an impact.

Emma looks so different here. Sometimes i wish Posuka's volume covers were as good as the color pages tbh

Bleach artbook will be out december 4th

[shoyoboyo]

Anyone know how much art books like the Bleach one usually goes for? I love Kubo's art, so having 500 pieces of his artwork would be awesome. I've never gotten an art book before so I'm pretty lost here. Also would I have to import it?
