Anyway, I have no idea what to expect from this one-shot. Seems like some kind of witch academy thing but I have no idea what they're sitting on. Also, I highly doubt Kubo is even going to do a series from it, or anything else for that matter. He seemed content with finishing up Bleach, so I'm pretty sure Jump just rang him up and asked him to write up a one-shot.

I'm shocked that Momiji wasn't in the bottom 5. Maybe it's being better received than I had thought. It placed basically where Jujutsu, Act-Age, and Noah's Notes all first ranked, so the next couple weeks could lead it to plummet, stay or even improve. It's sad to see Yuuna so low, but at least it's getting lead CP next issue. I'm really curious now to see what Invade You's first ranking will be next week. I was expecting a bottom 3 initial ranking, but after Momiji's ranking, maybe they'll start it out higher before seeing if it'll fall.

Hitting rock bottom is super bad for Noah's Notes. It looks like it's pretty bleak for the gyaru now, but then again, the rankings went down as the chapters started focusing more on templar battles and less on gyaru shenanigans. Jujutsu back down to its earlier levels. I can't recall ever seeing Haikyuu in the bottom 5 even before.

I'll wait for the picture for confirmation but if this information regarding Sumou's airing time is true:

Sumou is set to air on Tokyo MX, BS11, and 3 local TV stations; the standard for late-night anime. Sumou being a late-night anime is personally disappointing. I understand the series hardly sells so the producers probably aren't confident it'll bring in enough to break-even for buying a daytime slot but still I hoped it would air during the day. Its a sumou series. Its perfect to introduce young children to the sport in an exciting way. It really feels like they're going through the motions in regards to promoting it. The designs are personally just within the range where its an acceptable change so I have some hopes for the adaptation itself but I don't feel a lot of energy behind the stuff besides the product itself.

It's not completely hopeless I mean Kuroko was late night and that exploded in popularity but sumo wrestling is more of a hard sell than basketball.

Feels like the editor is playing a mind game, apart from Noah's notes, like they put must read series down there just to get people to flip through. Haikyuu!! is in a stronger than ever hotly anticipated arc, Food Wars was finally wrapping up its long lasting arc, and Zumou appeared to have developments, so theres nothing in these series that would fate them to those positions.

BLack Clover deserves higher
