Just noticing there is no Seiya in that ''Smash'' game. Well, I guess they'll add Seiya in the future. There's also no Ichigo.
They already confirmed they add more characters later on ( according to Gemtasu ) I'm not worried about this game since it looks like its going for japan its the other game I'm more worried about.

I listen to a lot of OST music, and I feel like MHA S3 OST is the best I've heard in a good while. Every track is something special

Looked at Momiji chapter from issue 32. A lot of rivals continue appearing one after another.

Now that I think about it, S3 has made My Hero really mainstream, it was alot of cosplay at the Anime Expo thing. But I also feel like the fandom has gotten worse compared to S2. I know, it comes with the territory but this is the first time I'm witnessing it, it's been really bad and noticeable:

One thing I noticed while I was watching some BC episodes was in the comment section, whether it was on Crunchy or a streaming site, I saw alot of NARUTO and FT comments but I didn't come across alot of back and forth, as in fans of BC were enjoying the content when they weren't throwing comparisons to other anime. However when I look on social media for MHA I find that there's ALOT more arguments over the content and other meaningless subjects, the most recent being how Endeavor is being handled this arc, but also stuff like if you don't like something you're homophobic or the hypocrisy of female characters being sexualized.

Horikoshi's twitter section has gotten really bad, not even just the bathing suit drawing that triggered fujos and social justice warriors, but even the recent episode picture. There's literally a hashtag that someone created in order to defend Hori from the current arc events. There's less and less Japanese comments bumped up to the top and more English comments. Also there's alot of memes with this series that I don't see with others. Tumblr is another story where there's always alot of fake outrage on there but it counts too unfortunately.

For me tho, I find it all funny in dumb way but hopefully Hori doesn't pull a Kubo on his twitter. He follows the fandom so he obv has seen the nonsense.

That's just how battle shounen fanbases are, generally around the ch 100 mark (and the equivalent part of the anime) people start to complain a lot about everything they can possibly think of.

As tirakai said, that's just how things are. Fujos will find something that triggers them, SJWs will find something that triggers them, shippers will find something that triggers them, etc etc. There's always a group that will get triggered one way or another, especially with how big MHA has become. It sucks that Hori has to deal with all of that especially since he probably witnesses it first hand on Twitter.

Its basically what Kubo said in a recent interview that mangaka should try to stay away from social media or not look at social media too much. I think he was more than likely hinting at the fandom reaction when he tried to kill Byakuya off. The non japanese backlash was so huge that I remember someone made a picture compilation of all the threats and insults Kubo got in less than 24 hours on twitter. Fandoms are stupid and people need to know where to draw a line. They act as tho the mangaka and authors owe them anything, which they dont.

Why do you care about fanbases? just ignored if doesn't affect you personally then don't get involve. that's life, you have to suck it up and quit complaining and enjoy life. I learned people are different, have no right to change them. everyone is facing their own demons, so leave them alone they will figure it out sooner or later.

It's not about whether it affects us, it's about whether it affects the manga's creator. It's probably not very fun to have people hurl abuse and death threats all day at you online, people like that ruin author-fan interaction for everyone.

Naw fam, none of this affects my enjoyment, it's more disappointing to see authors get attacked by fans from stupid shit like this. I don't really care if someone hates something I like, most of my favorites are mainstream and this is what just happens to mainstream battle series. I've already stated I don't get why people follow something they hate but I got feedback on the other side even if I still don't fully agree. It's just observations, I've been following MHA since Jan 2017 and the fans have became more rabid.

Didn't a few years ago Kubo used to roast fans on twitter who came for him over Orihime? When it comes to anime I'm 100% judging you if you think you're obligated to verbally attack a creator over something you did not like. Everyone has demons but this shit is just fiction, I can't comprehend why people take it further than that.

Let's focus more on manga and less on the fanbases.

Because they are toxic and harmful and can cause mental harm (sometimes even physical harm when they get outta hand) to authors, mangaka, singers etc. etc. Facing your own demons is not even remotely in the same context as overreacting fandoms who think they are owed anything. There was this facebook fan page for Bleach where the admin right until the last chapter was thanking Kubo for everything and then when the last chapter released and it shipped the characters he didn't have in mind, he lost his mind and went on a rant on how Kubo betrayed him and all the fans etc. etc.

Want a more brutal reality of the effects of overreacting stupid fans? Just recently, the actor who voiced Jar Jar Binks in Star Wars Phantom Menace said he was on the verge of killing himself because of how much the fans threatened him and abused him for that one role. You can bet your ass that there would be others we dont know who probably would've actually developed mental health problems because of threats. Anxiety, Depression are all no joke. Its fine to be critical about stuff in the right manner but unfortunately we live in an era where people take it out on the creators directly without any thought of the deep repercussions it can cause to that person.

So if you're one of these fans who overreact to nonsense thinking you're owed anything, my comment applies to you and anyone reading this as well.
