Lol even Jump is sick of the series constantly being about to end but never actually getting there.

Sounds to me like they've officially given him as long as he needs to finish up properly, he just can't do it in WSJ.

The 6 months system is interesting though, I wonder if that's why Bleach suddenly rushed into the finale in the last couple months.

I suppose this also means there will have to be one more final final Gintama anime after all, I don't know if the current one is planned to go into Autumn or not but even if it does there'll be more chapters after it ends.

I kinda get the impression that Bleach had the same issue that Gintama's had. Now that Sorachi kinda revealed how ending a long-running series works.

He actually said basically that same thing in volume 74 that came out last month but I thought he was joking.

Damn, Slam Dunk can't be stopped. Jujutsu might beat Dr. Stone next volume, great sales so far.

Nura did get time to end properly in a different magazine and it worked out pretty well imo.

Beel got that treatment too, though Tamura was clearly out of ideas by that point and and just ended up doing some gag chapters instead of trying to come up with a real ending.

Hopefully the Netflix deal will save the chances for more BLeach live action. America will save BLeach.

I will be one of the people who will buy netflix just for BLeach or maybe watch and turn it off during the 1wk free trial. .

Kubo did say he ended the series on his own terms. That with his health taken into consideration, I'm assuming that's exactly what it was. He probably just thought "fuck it" and rushed everything into last few chapters.
