Has there been any news on whether Hinomaru will be on Crunchyroll, Amazon Strike or any other?
Well I guarantee not Anime Strike as that shut down earlier this year for for just Amazon Prime Video. Pony Canyon US did license it and so far all their shows that have streaming announced have been sublicensed to Sentai Filmworks and are streaming on hidive so I'd guess there.

MC week 39

05./00. [NSW] Dragon Ball FighterZ <FTG> (Bandai Namco Games) {2018.09.27} (¥6.800) - 23.202 / NEW

the difference between it and xenoverse 2 FW are basically statistical noise.

Code:
SWI Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 for Nintendo Switch 23.011 167.506 Bandai Namco 06/09/2017
but the more compelling thing is xenoverse made it to 160K switch (only)?

yes, switch only

Code:
PS4 Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 [All Versions] 61.375 139.303 Bandai Namco 02/11/2016
the LTD number is for known total not actual total

Didn't DB Fighter Z sold like 400K in PS4?

Chrollo Lucilfer joins the roster of OreCollection, and sometime next week Maeda Taison will be added, making Rokudenashi Blues the 72nd Jump series in the game!

That lack of stock hit Heroaca quite hard in the 4th week. Its currently jumping back up again but that's due to the end of the anime. The reprint is set to come in tomorrow (10/4) but the new volumes for Jump also release tomorrow so we'll see how it works out. On the other hand, Ruroken had its first reprint come out on 9/20 so that really helped it keep its run. Its second reprint came out on 10/1 so it'll keep chugging on for the next couple weeks (to my personal distaste).

Soma drops out of the top 50 after 3 weeks. This actually happened last volume as well but that one came back up in its 5th week so we'll see next week. Jujutsu and Stone are the biggest focus here personally. There's a 7k gap between the two despite the volume difference. Jujutsu Kaisen also had a reprint come out on 10/2 so while it won't show up in the top 50, we might see it in the top 100 next week. Also Bokuben, crossed 100k in a month.

I don't really think it is fair to compare the two but yeah it is interesting to see how fast Jujutsu rise and actualy how slow Stone is growing (not properly labeled because I just did this on a whim)

I wonder why they do 3+mln print runs for this yet theres according to this, still over 850K copies just sitting out there. meanwhile, they seem fine doing numerous small print runs for heroaca and other series, constantly leading to, (well according to iceemperor) constant stock issues.

At 60K a month, it would take 15 months for them to rid themselves of the remaining one piece copies.

They don't just decrease print-runs when they don't sell all copies, the fact that OP manages to sell through 70% of its print run is a feat within itself since no manga can sell that amount in less than a month and judging by the fact that previous volumes are always ranked there's always going to be a demand for people who want to read the series.

Do we have estimate first print number for every series, or something close to that?

I know OP has 3 million and Yuragi at constant 250,000 for several volumes now.

Kimetsu should be around 250,000-300,000 given the known number.

They are slowly bringing it down. It was 4 million few years ago. And not to forget, it would likely sell another 100-200k within 12 months.

Oricon are not covering 100% of the sales, only about 40,000 shops around Japan, and there are far more shops selling manga that are not int the stats. Convenience store such as 7-Eleven, Lawson, FamilyMart and others... every store have a few copies of the latest volume, there are 60,000+ stores like that in Japan. Adding library, archives in Shuiesha and others, manga museums like the one in Kyoto and Ishinomaki, every editor getting his copy, doing the math and all the 3+ million copies are spread out.

Not sure when but as soon as the copies stars to run out they print a second edition, back in April I found volume 86 2nd print in 7-eleven near my hotel.

Dr.Stone really needs an anime if they want it to be the next Assassination Classroom.

Just a few days until the anime of HZ starts, do you all think it will have a boost?

They are series jump tried to push since the beginning.
They have the same kind of "humor"
Not battle shonen

I don't know, Dr.Stone always make me remember of Ass Class.

Most anime watchers just illegally stream/torrent anyway. Something not being on CR/Hulu/Netflix/etc won't really stop people from watching it in this day and age besides the die hard "legal or die" watchers.

is that really true? something unknown really needs the CR coverage to at least be clicked on by people. I dont think people actively search out an unknown new series just from a green listing on a torrent listing site with no thumbnail etc.

Streaming sites like kissanime and masterani give as much, if not more, information as Crunchyroll, any many more people use streaming sites than Crunchyroll.

Besides, most anime get popular through word of mouth so if HZ is any good then people will find out about it and check it out. Only well established series will be popular right off the bat.
