new round when :hip
My guess is within the next 4-5 issues. World Trigger is moving out, and HunterxHunter will probably be back on hiatus sometime around that point too, so it would make sense to fill those spots.

Rokudenashi Blues 30th anniversary exhibition will open December 4th 2018 to the 24th, Nakano, Tokyo. Art, manuscripts and others will be displayed from the time it was in WSJ. Further events will be posted in the official site.
10 years ago we got pachi slots, 5 years ago a live-action, now crossing fingers for Anime? :darn

Unless they stretch Blue into 2020, I don't see how Soma couldn't end after this arc. Then again, anything is possible judging from the recent plot machinations of that series.

I'm wondering how these recommendations work. Does an author just call up an editor and say hey yo i like this series, then the editor put an recommendation ad on it? :notsure. Murata also did the same thing for Act Age but on his Twitter lol.

Maybe Act Age's artist is dating the author who gave her this recommendation.

Please, let it happen. Is still surprising for me how in in 2018, despite how big Rokudenashi is (42 volumes, 13th most sold Jump manga), it still never got anime adaptation.

I want to believe.

I’d imagine either

A: the SJ editors hit up old popular authors and say
“hey, there’s this series we think you’d like that we think has a lot of potential. Here’s a few volumes, tell us what you think”.
The author reads it, gives their opinion. And if they like it, the editors will quote the author on the next volume release.

B: I’m pretty sure most old artist keep up with Jump to an extent even when they’re not in the magazine. I mean, most of them were probably huge fans of the magazine growing up before they were published. So a lot of them are probably aware of what series is running.

I’m sure the authors themselves don’t go out of their way to shoutout a new series often. But I’d imagine the editors may hit some of them up every now and then and say “hey, is there anything new you’re enjoying right now?”

Wow if they really have enough time on their hands to read volumes worth of content with their schedule, I was thinking more like a chapter or two.

From what I can tell they usually get authors who aren’t currently in the magazine, or at the very least, aren’t working on a long running serialization.
So I’d imagine that even if they were working on something, they’d probably have way more free time than they would if the were currently in Jumping

I don't know how long it takes you to read manga, but I can usually get through a volume in less than an hour.

Either way, it looks like this is good for the future of Act-Age, if it wasn't clear already. Hopefully it avoids the 10 volume trap that Sesuji wo Pin and Samon-kun fell into.

Impossible. Theres no way you can retain any information or get immersed and impressed at artwork and intricate details in that time.

And its offensive. The writer and artist slave over a chapters for weeks and you finish in under an hour?! What a slap in the face that is. Shameful.

Nah for me it's because the only way I can stand to read Black Clover is making a drinking game out of it and if I go more than like five pages a night I'll get liver failure.

Maybe Jujutsu Kaisen will get a shoutout as well, since the editors like pairing the two together
