PD: I've been watching Youtube videos of ''Spring 2019 anime openings ranked''. Is awesome to see how Black Clover OP 7 is usually in the top-3. There were even two videos when it was in first place.

out of the 45 posts (currently) only 3 seem like actual negative reviews so if 0.06666666666% of views don't like something means people are cooling on it I guess it was never that good to begin with since I'm sure more than that didn't like episode 1 at all.

I have noticed MangaPlus exclusive releases have started leaking to aggregator sites (The Sign of Abyss, Spy x Family, Dricam, Abyss Rage, Land Lock, Moon Land have all of their chapters up, Arata Primal 5 out of current 10, and Curtain Im' Off Ch.1, Nano Hazard Ch. 1). Guess someone finally figured out how to break the reader protection they had.

What's the point of that? The only reasons I can think of are cases like Summertime Rendering not available in Canada (and a few other countries) or someone really wants to read them in English in Japan, China or Korea. Most those series have all chapters up outside of those 3 countries though.

Me neither really. Funny thing Land Lock scored a 7 day 50k+ views for Chapter 1 on one of the aggregator sites. I feel MangaPlus VERY sadly is not popular as it should be. Does not help Shueisha does not invest in promoting the service at all!

I guess people are cooling on Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba (based no mal ep2 forum posts).

Perhaps Dr. Stone will be the next BLack Clover/Boruto success story.

Dr Stone will suffer due to the first episodes as it's the worst part of the series. This really will make many people drop the show as it only gets better later on

Only 5 volumes + 11 were in the top 500 as of yesterday, With all of them >200 with 2 almost dropping out completely, so its not doing well. Was doing significantly better in the days following the first episode, but dropped down very fast which isn’t a good sign (Normally they’d remain somewhat consistent or even increase). May be the kind of series that gets traction as more girls are introduced, which is very plausible considering it’s the whole hook of it.

Definitely too early to say it did nothing, but the impact after the first episode on Shoseki was very mediocre at least. Would be lucky to have gained few K on volume 1 at best I’d imagine.

Yes, can’t remember specifically, but Yuuna only had like 2 volumes chart for two days its entire run. Either way it basically didn’t chart at all.

Kimetsu has some boring stuff happen, but the adaptation's production values are insane.
People will be drawn in to the animation and soundtrack.

True. But I think Kimetsu in the beginning was far better than Stone. The series only began to get it right when those two characters disappeared and all.

They're many battle shonen which begin slow or mediocre but become good, World trigger (or even One Piece to some people) for example, so is more difficult to drop the series.
Doctor stone have the problem of the character except senku were bland in the begining, and the thing about senku surviving the prologue that may annoy people.

I think Stone has an interesting enough premise and enough action first few episodes to hold viewer’s attention for 5 or 6 episodes. Which is probably all it’ll take for Taiju and Yuzuriha to exit the story.

Rather than people being put off by Stone's first few episodes, I feel more like casual audiences will be drawn into the action and conflict of the prologue arc only to be put off when it shifts gears to full time survival-crafting and switches out 3 of the 4 MCs.
