Yeah, everything was bound to fall.
OP has been falling for the past many years now. Remember when it's peak print was 4 million copies? I'm fairly certain that print number has come down now.
I'm curious, how has the new TPN volume done after the anime aired when compared to old ones? Anime News Network's charts seems to not go beyond March. So can't really compare.
can't really say since it have the limited edition dividing the sales... but here are some know values
without LE

With LE included (exact value up to 4 week are not known so +/- 3~5k, but we know that 5 weeks was 573,290 )

Nice to see Act-Age and Chainsaw in high positions, Zumou also went up a little this week, and Kamio Yui actually has chances of sticking around, I'm curious to see which of the 7 (Chainsaw, Saiyuuki, Kamio Yui + 4 new ones) will be the ones who prevail, tough competition as always.

I'd say Chainsaw is completely established already and will keep doing normal.

Saiyuki ch 1 was great but since then its been constant infodumps which never rank well. The drop isn't much of a surprise to me.

Kamio Yui doing so well is weird to me though, I don't mind it but it feels a bit plain. Maybe folks are hungry for a new romcom (or maybe it's MC's design/character, he strikes me as the type who might draw in a good female fanbase). We will probably need a new romcom soon-ish with Yuuna continuing to do finale-set-up stuff and WNL also setting up how it's going to conclude each relationship.

Kamio Yui over Hero Academia really surprised me.

Chainsawman slowly rising up.

Kamio Yui in a good position, this is good.
Waiting for the first chapter of Samurai 8, it seems to be very interesting.

HeroAca is collapsing as BLack Clover stays strong. Superior arc writing prevails.

Independently of the quality of Last Saiyuki, I don't see the appeal of anything Kamio Yui does. It's bafflingly and painfully mediocre. Honestly don't know how this would find a base.

Next is likely going to be David who is out, perfect chance as it will switch out with Japan for the bottom place.
Kind of odd Shueisha had ended both Ne0 and Higuma on places that are not next to Japan.

Saiyuki is slowly dying I see. Too bad. If it doesn't recover soon, another one to throw to an axe bin.

Nice to see better positions for Chainsaw Man and it also has solid volume sales so far. Goodbye Higuma. Things aren't looking too promising for Saiyuki while Kamio seems like it might have better survival chances, especially if the romcom audiences like it in Japan. Act-Age and Jujutsu continue to sell really nicely and Kimetsu is getting a good boost so far. Overall, pretty satisfying stuff. With Dr. Stone getting its anime in summer, there will be a new wave of anime adaptation announcements we can anticipate from the 2018 crew (Jujutsu and Act-Age) and you could even count Chainsaw Man in there but that would be for later. Just thinking about a Chainsaw Man anime feels crazy considering it's still really recent and it's a fairly insane series it will be a challenge to adapt it.

yui should stay in the place of yuuna or WNL, say the two are ending, I do not follow any of them so I do not know.

I'll keep following but hopeless which is a shame because I really enjoyed the work.

Thanks man.
So basically, it's not a fair comparison to older volumes until the next volume comes out.

yuuna could potentially ends in the next round in July/August

either naturally or axed (which the author could also write a natural end)

WNL plot-wise it is close to ending but not there yet, unless the authors want to expand to college life (and i don't remember the timeline in the manga right now)

Yeah, that's the think
Saiyuki is competing with too many nekketsu or and have the problem that Space Naruto is starting in this issue. Kamio started in the perfect moment to serialize a romcom, like when Yuna start when Nisekoi was ending.

So hilarious, this forum is becoming a good place to know when a series will do good and bad just based on users hating and loving, keep going guys, maybe next week Kamio Yui will be first above One Piece ;)

Anyway, sad seeing Saiyuki in the bottom, i read the manga last week and i liked a lot, maybe when the action starts it will rise but i'm expecting Yui to be in the bottom too, the toc will get quite short in the next weeks and there's no "flop" to serve as a shield for these two.

Uh oh, Saiyuki is in a though spot, unless it can pull an Act Age or Jujutsu, its over for it; and Yui Kamio placing decently sure is a surprise, while I do think it isnt so special, happy to see Shiibashi succeeding again

What do you guys like about Saiyuki? Since the first few chapters it's been lackluster for me.

Meanwhile Yui Kamio is very fun. As the previous head chief editor before Nak the Hack said, "A good manga just bad to be interesting." YK is zany, wacky, funny and pleasant on the eyes.

Overall I agree with Bait that BC has superior writing over BNHA rn but it's sad that only the TOC and not the sales reflect that. Again here I believe the art style has a huge role to play in this. Also superhero craze potentially.

Hope Kimetsu gets Neverland level boosts by the end of the cour. RIP David next week.
