did i miss something why do you assume Shinobi Squad will be a comedy?
Apparently it will be action with politicized content.

Dr.Stone is only popular if you believe TOC rankings which i don't. Stone constantly rates well but nobody buys its tanks and its outsold by younger series with no upcoming anime
In the US Dr. Stone, at the very least, has a a pretty strong fanbase, and will definitely be one of the more discussed anime of the summer, among Fire Force, and Vinland Saga(according to MAL, Dr.Stone is the second most anticipated anime of Summer Season).

And just because other series are more successful doesn’t mean that Dr.Stone is a failure.(and younger series selling more really means nothing. If you’re referring to Act-Age and Jujutsu Kaisen. Both appeal to completely different type of manga readers, so them selling more than Stone doesn’t really say much).

All and all, Jump is the most popular manga mangazine in the world. Pretty much every mainstay series in the magazine, even the lower selling mainstays, are popular to some degree, and typically have a stronger fanbases than Shonen series from other companies.

In Jump, pretty much any manga which isn't axed is a hit. Even Hinomaru qualifies as a (smaller) hit.
