Oh cool, thanks for laying this out.

Can you also break down the mangakas from your "obvious predictions" category? There's some I don't recognize.
Yuusaku Shibata did Yoakemono manga (traditional Japan samurai) & Sahara the Flower Samurai GIGA miniseries (Fantasy post apocalyptic samurai) and Zippo oneshot (police/mecha)

Ken Ogino did Lady Justice manga (superheroes/ecchi)

Kentarou Itani did Takuan and Batsu's Daily Demon Diary manga (exorcists /ecchi)

Masaoki Shindou did many oneshots Sky Claw (angel kid want to b king of angels) Joreishi Rentaro no Yakusoku (exorcists) Count Over (battle royal)

New edition of the 'Project: Interviewing editors at MangaPlus', this time with Dr. Stone with Hiroyuki Honda.

English: https://jumpg-webfront.tokyo-cdn.com/web_pages/216/

Spanish: https://jumpg-webfront.tokyo-cdn.com/web_pages/219/

Since Honda was a previous Furudate's editor, there's also a lot of stuff about him.

EDIT: Damn, that sales remark.
I don’t think manga sells well at all unless it’s made for the people of that point in time. “Naruto”, “One Piece”, “Dragon Ball”, and “Haikyu!!” - I think they all sold well because they looked a little into the future when they were made. I believe that “Dr. Stone” is the “newest” Jump manga like that. That’s why I think people should read it. I can’t say this enough but Dr. STONE is the best manga out there right now, so for everyone out there, I’d like to ask you to give the newest, most entertaining Jump manga a read.

Wait, Yuusaku Shibata did a mecha one-shot, and I never heard about it?

Can someone link it?

Well, next question, then, has Ogino or Itani done anything since their respective series got axed?

Such a weird panneling
Shibata is a former Oda and Horikoshi assistant
people often compare his pages composition to Oda's

Well, next question, then, has Ogino or Itani done anything since their respective series got axed?
Itani did Ozu to ozuma wa himitsu suru oneshot in GIGA 2 years ago

I don't think Ogino did anything ever since his axing

Yuusaku Shibata return (said he was working on a new series)
Yuusuke Utsumi return
I hope, with Moue and Yagi they are the ones that I want the most to return only to see how much they have improved

Ken Ogino return (said he was working on a new series)
Not a fan of Lady Justice, but is one of the echii author that can fill the gap of Soma (and Yuragii when it ended), so I can see in the next serializations round.

Kentarou Itani return (Takuan and Batso was well received despite the axe)
Possible, but I still see the author would fit better in Magazine or even Champions than Jump.

NisiOisiN return (have been doing oneshots left and right)
Hot by Akira Amano serialization (I mean, what else she got going on??)
I don't think that Nisio , Amano (or other authors like Kenta) will come back. But well, Inagaki is back, so is not like that is imposible and Hot will "solve" their spokon "problem".
I would like Nisio doing a "couple" manga with his weird things. Maybe a sequel of the gyaru oneshot.

Sui Ishida moving from Young Jump
To be honest, I can see him making the transition to a shonen magazine unlike other seinen author.
Like Wakui Ken did in Magazine.

Now, my prediction:
-Some of the author that his series was axed in 2017 (Yūji Kimura,Takamasa Moue,Yoshimichi Okamoto,Ryuhei Tamura)
-Ken Ogino and Yuusaku Shibata (for the reason said by Mamo)
-Tonishiro takayama or Naoshi Komi(I think they are the romcom author that have more possibilities to come back to magazine in this year . Ryohei Yamamoto and Tsunehiro Date are the other options after them )
-Ryo Nakama's new gag manga.

Monthly Top July 2019 (7/1-8/4)
1. One Piece
2. Kimetsu no Yaiba
3. One Punch Man
4. Kingdom
5. Slime
6. The Promised Neverland
7. My Hero Academia
8. Kaguya-sama
9. Kusuriya no Hitorigoto
10. Fire Force
11. 5toubun
12. Dr. Stone
13. Black Clover
14. Takagi-san
15. Jujutsu Kaisen
16. Grand Blue
17. Saint Young Men
18. Fate Grand/Order
19. Chihayafuru
20. act-age

I really can't say Dr. Stone is doing good with these numbers. I don't know, maybe I'm being way to pessimist, but for series like JJK to only be 30k behind it after that whole campaing for Stone, it just seems unsettling for me.

PD: Thanks to revo for sharing on the server.

I find it odd people using spokon rather than sports, they have the same number of letters so it's not exactly shorter, and spokon's just going to confuse new users. Spokon always just makes me think spoken, like it's some alternate term for those voiced comics.

Honestly for new series I don't mind who we get, ijust hope we get a proper instant hit. Act age, Jujutsu, and Chainsawman are great but they were all shaky rank-wise at first, it's been a while since we've had a new series capture people's attention from chapter 1 (and keep it).

oh a new serialization round, prediction time

obvious predictions:
Exorcists manga
Baseball manga
Yuusaku Shibata return (said he was working on a new series)
Ken Ogino return (said he was working on a new series)
Kentarou Itani return (Takuan and Batso was well received despite the axe)
NisiOisiN return (have been doing oneshots left and right)
Hot by Akira Amano serialization (I mean, what else she got going on??)
Masaoki Shindou debut (GFC winner who still have not receive his prize)

realistic hopes (I just like these mangakas) :
Hakutei no Erica by Kenta Yuzuriha serialization
Tatsuya Tanimoto debut
Mitsuki Nagata debut
Yuusuke Utsumi return

unrealistic predictions (little chance of happening but would be amazing if it did) :
Dragon Garow Lee moving from Plus
Sui Ishida moving from Young Jump

I'm just doing this so I can spam meme magic if any of these prediction come true
You forgot about Gen Osuka coming back :3c

:-_- I see what you're trying to do

I don't hate Gen Osuka (nor Takamasa Moue for that matter)
I just hate Golem Heart and Galaxy Gangs

if they do something else I will give their work a try

in the case of Moue other work, I liked some of the aspects of K.K. in the City of Fog and Ole Golazo, although overall i think both are mediocre at best
in the case of Osuka other work, I didn't like Fantasies oneshot at all

Hina Change keeps making me WTF each chapter. Much more entertaining than Dear Sa-Chan.

Yeah I’m just messing around, overall I do agree with you about both of them, they both have potential but seriously need to work on their stories, tho I’ll give the edge to Moue, he seems to have a better grasp

If Either Galaxy Gangs or Fantasies were to get serialized, they’ll both need major upgrades to make it work

Some random stuff I was thinking. Why is Hoshin Engi so minor?

I know is important in some way (Ore Collection promo, anime reboot). But merchandising and popularity-Wide, is really minor. It isn't even so old (1996 manga which was the main backup to Kenshin in the post-DB and pre-OP era), and it sold like +20 million print copies, but when you think in 90s Jump (without counting the 1990 titans) you think of Kenshin, Yu-gi-oh, Shaman King, Dragon Quest Dai no Daiboken, and sometimes Midori no Makibao and Sexy Commando.

Nube is the other title that suffers this. It sold as much as Assassination Classroom but more than NuBe 2 in Grand Jump, nobody reembers it.
