I don't think Kubo will return with a new series either. But why announce he's working on a project that's to be revealed in next week's issue, only to announce what it is on Twitter the same day the magazine is released in Japan? Why not just do that from the beginning? It's not like they really think anyone cares about what he's doing with Sakura Wars anyway.
I believe the actual translation simply just said it would have a poster for something new Kubo was working on.
It’s only in translations that people twisted it into saying “brand new project”. And made it appear to be a manga of some sorts.

And most people believe that Jump knew that SEGA would announce that Tite Kubo was doing the designs themselves. So they wanted to announce Kubo was working on something, without making the announcement before Sega

This is my speculation. Maybe whoever is producing the game was aware of the fact that Jump tends to leak early and if there was a direct announcement in the WSJ issue, people would have known about the news early.

I mean, they probably would've just paid WSJ for advertisement and since Kubo was doing something for the game, WSJ must have thought using his name would be a good enough advertisement for the game.

Guys come on we said we were gonna get to 1000 pages this year but we're only at 132 and the year is 25% done.

Answer one of the following.

Which do you think is objectively better right now, Black Clover or Boku no Hero Academia

Is there a need for fan Edited Mangas of the jump series that are already out on Jump Plus

Is Hunter x Hunter a shonen or seinen

Was Kubo a genius all along

What the most popular Jump series you hate

Unpopular WSJ opinions?

Black Clover is more fun. My Hero feels like a mess.

Not for me anymore, but as long as the magazine leaks early there will always be a demand.

This shonen or seinen bullshit needs to stop. These are magazine demographics, not genres. Hunter x Hunter is and always will be shonen unless it gets moved to a seinen magazine.

No.

Naruto.

Naruto was never good.

Right now, i like HeroAca more again. The focus on the villains feels fresh.

I hate this shonen/seinen debate. HxH is a shonen and there is nothing bad about being a shonen.

Most popular series i hate is, Promised Neverland.

Kubo is a genius but that doesn’t mean he always produces content that’s worthy of a genius.

Unpopular opinion: Bleach is better than Naruto. We Never Learn is trash. Yu Yu Hakusho is average.

YYH has a really strong cast but it's far too repetitive. The pacing of the anime makes it even worse.

BNHA and BC are in the same level, but i prefer BNHA.

HxH is shonen.

Kubo is a good author.

Obviously Saint Seiya, this manga is very boring.

Haikyuu is overrated, Eyeshield 21 and especially Slam Dunk are better.

My hero but I’m not caught up. I just couldn’t get into BC

No scans needed. I don’t even read on the day of release anyway

Kubo is an art genius and a terrible author, but I love it. His real mistake is that his foreshadowing was too subtle. I could always go back and connect the dots that things were planned all along but just barely vs someone like Oda who will dangle the good stuff openly and let it sit for 300 chapters.

Unpopular opinions:
Oda’s art is far too cluttered
Stealth Symphony had the most potential of anything in the last decade
Togashi isn’t that great. I’ve tried HxH twice and still haven’t finished. YuYu is good but still haven’t finished that either

Well that's quite the series of blatant troll questions meant to start arguments. Turning a couple those into one that's not just meant to cause arguments:

What's everyone's favourite WSJ quick-flop?

Personally I really liked how Gakkyuu Hotei turned out, it managed to tell a full story with pretty decent pacing with it's short run. I've always felt that if it was longer if would've gone the repetitive route.
I remember enjoying Love Rush too in the end since it managed to give MC and his childhood friend a pretty nice complete relationship arc.

Black Clover comparing the latest arcs, otherwise still BHA.

For me no, but overall yes. People (and especially the boys demo this is for) want to read as fast as possible, where MangaStream and JaiminBox profit. There is a reason why MangaPlus fails to gain traction, besides the awful promotion of the platform.

Never read it, nor I intend to.

World's End Harem (as a Shonen Jump+ which counts)

I liked Nisekoi. It dragged after the Mother (Chitoge) arc by a lot, but I was the huge fan of how it started and how it ended. The art was solid, humor was mostly on point, characters were likeable, didn't rely on ecchi just because.

Hitomi no Catoblepas, Ole Golazo and Tanaka Seiji.

Also I don't mean what do you think had the most potential/could've been the best series, rather I mean what do you like best when judging them as finished series?

To also answer this as potential/could've been....ZIGA should have started with this chapter earlier https://lhscan.net/read-ziga-raw-chapter-5.html as it created a nice twist and sent the plot in an interesting way. Too late in WSJ of course.

MHA, just it hasn’t had a focus on plot for ages which has made it very unfocused. BC doesn’t really have much of a plot in the first place, and stories are largely arc-based, so it doesn’t have that issue. Characters are severly underdeveloped because it never slows down (but that’s also the series’ appeal).

Fan Edited Mangas of Jump at this point are completely pointless, but they’ll never stop.

Who gives a shit.

Kubo ran himself into the ground. Genius or not, Bleach went to shit.

Rurouni Kenshin sucks hard. Main cast don’t get any development until the final arc, and are pretty much all outright annoying and painful. Very good villains in Kyoto though, but the series stinks of the same vibe cancel fodder have. Worst successful Jump series with almost no redeeming features the first 2/3 of the series. Loved the final arc though.

Unpopular Opinions:
Kimetsu has been boring and repetitive (even sucked) since Rengoku’s death.
Jujutsu has no redeeming qualities outside of its fight choreography (which is pretty damn good).
We Never Learn is painful and a majority of the girls suck.
Haikyuu’s pacing in the manga has been absolutely terrible for a large portion of the series.
Jump should cancel series earlier.

Best flops:
Illegal Rare
Hungry Marie from chapter 20+

Can't answer it TBH, dont follow BC and I've dropped BNHA months ago

I wouldn't be against it, some of the translations aren´t very good so I'm having a hard time following some of the dialogue

Shonen

He's as good as any Jump author

Umm.... I'll say Kuroko no Basket

Unpopular opinions:
-Not to fond of the BNHA cast, in particular Bakugou, dont hate him but I'm just not a fan
-Still not a fan of Jujutsu
-Higuma>Chainsawman
-Not sure if this is unpopular but I'll say it anyway, Hinomaru deserved a decent anime adaptation from a better studio, dont care if it wouldnt increase it sales in the end, I find it very unfair that all of the other current mangas have better adaptations from better studios

Favorites flop:
-Yoakemono
-Mitsukubi Condor
-Hungry Marie
-Seiji Tanaka
-Alice & Taiyou

They will never be pointless as long as the fan translations are higher quality than official (jujutsu, zumou, and kimetsu for example)

I thought you would've known this considering you're a fan of Zumou.
