They will never be pointless as long as the fan translations are higher quality than official (jujutsu, zumou, and kimetsu for example)

I thought you would've known this considering you're a fan of Zumou.
whats wrong with viz's jujutsu translator, he's pretty active on twitter, and I thought kimetsu was problem free.

Well that's quite the series of blatant troll questions meant to start arguments. Turning a couple those into one that's not just meant to cause arguments:

What's everyone's favourite WSJ quick-flop?

Personally I really liked how Gakkyuu Hotei turned out, it managed to tell a full story with pretty decent pacing with it's short run. I've always felt that if it was longer if would've gone the repetitive route.
I remember enjoying Love Rush too in the end since it managed to give MC and his childhood friend a pretty nice complete relationship arc.
Ultra Battle Satellite, Golem Hearts, and Mutou Black for insta.

Illegal Rare, Shuudan, and Noah's Notes for not so insta.

More unpopular opinions.

Kimetsu is mostly mediocre.

Heart Gear was terrible.

Please elaborate in what way they are better?

-Not sure if this is unpopular but I'll say it anyway, Hinomaru deserved a decent anime adaptation from a better studio, dont care if it wouldnt increase it sales in the end, I find it very unfair that all of the other current mangas have better adaptations from better studios
Look, while wasn't a good adaptation, it's certainly not alone. Yuuna, Early Black Clover and Soma were all just as bad, and We Never Learn is looking like it'll join those ranks. Can't forget Japan. Unfortunately it skipped arcs which sucks, but presentation-wise you could argue it was better than all of those.

Nothing in Jump has bad official translations except for HZ, but HZ is simply far too much effort for anyone to do when it's already being simulpubbed. For Jujutsu and Kimetsu, people largely have fault with a few specific terms, which is pretty minor in the scheme of things. For the most part, it's tomato tomarto, which hardly justifies a pirated version. They're certainly no where near bad enough that I'd want to spend hours Editing them every week myself, but I get that's a matter of opinion.

The Soma anime is fine, it's nothing amazing but it's a decent enough adaptation.

Guys come on we said we were gonna get to 1000 pages this year but we're only at 132 and the year is 25% done.

Answer one of the following.

Which do you think is objectively better right now, Black Clover or Boku no Hero Academia

Is there a need for fan Edited Mangas of the jump series that are already out on Jump Plus

Is Hunter x Hunter a shonen or seinen

Was Kubo a genius all along

What the most popular Jump series you hate

Unpopular WSJ opinions?
This guy: "answer one of the following"
People: *answer all of them*
Can't really blame anyone, I'd answer it all too.

Right now, Black Clover is more interesting, although we're comparing a manga at the end of it's biggest arc with another one just starting a new one after a slow arc.

Yes, it's not different than having multiple scans picking up a manga.

Shonen, it's just not as clichê, and it deals with more mature themes with more justice to them.

He was never a genius.

I think my answer will be one of the most controversial ones, even if I don't actually hate it, but just find it boring and lackluster, Death Note, everything about the death note is fantastic, amazing concept, too bad it was used on that "wannabe - ideology conflict" between L and Kira, the two aren't bad characters themselves, but trapping the Death Note on that small, totally circunstancial chain of events was a waste, the mind battle wasn't bad at all, I just didn't care, I guess that my expectations killed the manga for me.

-We never Learn is probably the best RomCom in Jump ever
-My Death Note opinion
-Assasination classroom isn't that funny, i've seen non-comedy manga managing to pull of comedy way better.
-Gege Akutami's art is not bad at all.
-The 90's had too many delinquents to the point where it is annoying.

Some are Red Sprite, Best Blue, Alice & Taiyo, Omagadoki Doubutsen, etc.

BnHA hasn't been great since the climax of AfO vs OfA. And even before that it hadn't been good since Todoroki vs Deku. It's just, through high moments were so high that our expectations were prolonged... And then not met again and again.

Black Clover characters actually have depth, and their little idiosyncrasies tend to have origins that make sense. Foreshadowing is just the right amount and the series has been on an upward rise for a while.

We don't need to fight between these two series though, they're just so big they're easily mentioned together.

I can't understand how anyone can like Chainsawman less than Higuma or Neolation (I know, taste, but...)

salty cancelations:
  1. Galaxy Gangs.
  2. Ziga
  3. U19 had all the makings of an amazing manga.
  4. Stealth symphony could have been a masterpiece but it was executed poorly. By which I mean, the art was amazing but the mangaka doesn't have a good sense of panelling, transition etc imo.
Questions
  1. How about the worst short series? I heard Judos was trash.
  2. Favorite and worst Yu-Gi-Oh part?
  3. Series that went to shit
  4. Is Jump the best manga magazine
  5. Has jump had some of the best manga? How many of your favs are from it?
  6. You are now a manga writer and can choose either Kubo or Mashima as your artist. What is your plot

There is no objectively better one. It's all subjective. I prefer MHA, but I don't believe that MHA should be considered objectively better.

Is there a need for fan Edited Mangas of the jump series that are already out on Jump Plus
No.

Is Hunter x Hunter a shonen or seinen
Shonen.

Was Kubo a genius all along
Kubo is as much of a 'genius' than any other mangaka with his level of success.

I've got a little downtime, so I'll bite.

I hate Asta too much to read BC so I guess MHA by default? Though I can admit it's been kind of a chore to read lately. The recent events show promise though.

Nah.

Doesn't matter.

My feeling on Bleach is if you want something with no substance but a ton of style then it's the series you go for. I have nothing against Bleach --don't hate it or love it, but I wouldn't call Kubo a genius as much as he's a guy who's an incredible artist, but needs an author to bring out his potential --if he ever comes back.

Naruto for hate, Chainsawman and TPN for don't get the appeal but I don't mind them existing. They both have the same problems (to me) that I just can't get into any of the characters. Chainsaw's are just unlikeable, while TPN's characters --due to it's focus on plot and forward momentum feel kind of empty. I just loathe Naruto in general.

I don't think I have any unpopular opinions as I generally don't read as much as most people here, and for the stuff I do read I'm behind on. I guess I wish people wouldn't compare other magazines to Jump since it's popularity while amazing is a bit of an anomaly than something that should be expected as normal. That being said it is well deserved I think.

- I dont read BC and I stopped following MHA for a month now because of work life.
- Nope. Don't think so. But it depends on other things.
- Shonen
- Kubo's art set him apart from the rest. He knows how to show fights unlike most others in his generations. His explanations can be very poetic if he does it right. But his cons are he doesn't always follow through with foreshadowing and connecting stuff. He often leaves it to the reader and most often than not, readers don't connect the dots.
- Used to hate Toriko with a passion but I learnt to love it with time.
- AC was overrated.

Are you just incorrectly regurgitating things to fit in?
What was incorrect? And what am I regurgitating? Usually I'm pretty sensitive to criticism but I legit have no clue what you're dissing me on. I do like fitting in too much for my own good tho.

Heart Gear was really nice! One of the most atmospheric manga I've read recently and a very strong start. Of course the robot contains a human-looking husbando. :)

Galaxy Gangs was never serialized. It was just a one-shot that was well liked here.

Yeah I hated Asta too but now I love him somehow. No character is a hollow existence in the manga, maybe you dropped it too early? Although, I also love Chainsawman's characters (they're extremely likable to me), so maybe we just have different tastes?

Although whereas Asta is far on the shonen spectrum, Chainsawman's character's are a lot more on the "seinen" spectrum - in the way they act as if they are going about everyday life, and how there is a realism about them in that their actions don't exist just to further the main plot. That's how it feels. I never liked these types of characters before but through growing up they feel a lot more real. I'm curious about your age range and top 3 manga btw?

Oh I thought you were taking about my Black Clover OP/ED comment and got confused.

I really like Galaxy Gangs, it had spirit and a lot of world building, and was way better than the one Horikoshi did imo. They even managed to make an alien waifu. Honestly it had soul, hope Moue Takamasa comes back someday.

It kinda sucks how you'd put it this way "Are you just incorrectly regurgitating things to fit in?" Are you feeling down or something or in a bad mood?

You're just getting on my nerves with this "seinen genre spectrum" and other misinformation nonsense
