Might as well Jump on the bandwagon.Guys come on we said we were gonna get to 1000 pages this year but we're only at 132 and the year is 25% done.
Answer one of the following.
Which do you think is objectively better right now, Black Clover or Boku no Hero Academia
Is there a need for fan Edited Mangas of the jump series that are already out on Jump Plus
Is Hunter x Hunter a shonen or seinen
Was Kubo a genius all along
What the most popular Jump series you hate
Unpopular WSJ opinions?
1) It varies from time to time, I think Black Clover has a more consistent quality, while HeroAca has swells and dips. I've been enjoying Black Clover more for a while, but it might be shifting, there's some good developments in MHA recently.
2) At least not early releases. I can understand some people prefer different translations, so I don't have as much of a problem with people translating series around Monday like what's happening with KnY, but I can't see the early releases as being anything but bad for the author.
3) No
4) I don't care enough about him to give a good answer
5) I don't really hate any but, Saint Seiya I guess? I can appreciate it in a meta context for how it helped establish many tropes present in modern battle shonens, but it hasn't aged well at all. Everything since has built on the formulas it established, making Saint Seiya look bare bones and bland by comparison
6) I think Demon's Plan had some good things going for it. I get why it was cancelled, but the concept works well enough in theory, and the end where the author basically threw out all the ideas he was going to use had some stuff that would have made great plot points if they were allowed to naturally develop.
Also, maybe it's cause I wasn't that invested in the first place, but I don't really get why everyone hates Shokugeki so much. I mean I don't love it or anything but I don't think it's that bad.
I also liked Lover Rush, it felt like a complete story and the resolution felt natural, I think it actually benefitted from its short serialization. Also Stealth Symphony and its rapid climax was pretty cool, and Shudan! managed to convey a decent story despite its length.Well that's quite the series of blatant troll questions meant to start arguments. Turning a couple those into one that's not just meant to cause arguments:
What's everyone's favourite WSJ quick-flop?
Personally I really liked how Gakkyuu Hotei turned out, it managed to tell a full story with pretty decent pacing with it's short run. I've always felt that if it was longer if would've gone the repetitive route.
I remember enjoying Love Rush too in the end since it managed to give MC and his childhood friend a pretty nice complete relationship arc.
