Is people born in. Notice how for example Kinnikuman and Captain Tsubasa are in second list, or Yu-Gi-Oh in third list.

No Hoshin Engi in any list saddens me.

looking for these terms online, it says people currently in their teens and twenties are from the mango generation so that could mean from 1990 to now, young kiwi generation is people currently in their thirties, kiwi is people in their forties and fifties and more than 60 is banana generation.

This could explain better why my tastes fully correspond to mango generation and not kiwi generation even though I'm 29 🤷🏽‍♂️

Looking at this site you can also clearly see that during the show they refer to Banana Generation as people in 50-60's, Kiwi Generation as 30-40's and Mango. Generation as 10-20's

For those that understand Japanese and want to watch the show it can be found here

Interesting to see that there are still no new series. From what I can see it is either that Shueisha wants to wait until GFC ends (which is understandable), or seeing how the newbies are doing (looking at what Bottom 6 right now is), they may as well wait and hope something sticks out.

Shueisha still treating Jujutsu and Act-age like minor titles that don't deserve any promotion. :/
Saiyuki and Chainsaw Man in the same line, huh??? Saiyuki also being above Kamio Yui, what?
Feels like Shueisha has decided to save it?

I think we shouldn't make conspiracy theories based on something as minute as a cover. Based on the GIGA issue preview, it seems more likely that Saiyuki, Taisei and Beast are getting the axe, while Yui and Shinobi are being kept until at least December.

I'm more kinda infuriated that Jump is giving Samurai 8 preferential treatment on the cover from the looks of it, which is nepotism of the highest degree.

I don't think a lack of bangaihen for the three is neccesarily a doom for any, I see it more as presence equal staying. Nothing more.
Also, what stops Shueisha to not axe anything and just fill Hinomaru and Souma spots (and waiting until GFC ends)? It would be oddly passive for them, but meh. I don't think they can allow another big serialization with a huge risk of failure.

first of all, the person that took the image should be asswhooped.

second, jujutsu kaisen and act age seems like manga that just came out. how wsj become smaller cuz of soma and hinomaru out the way, it shouldve been placed a bit better.. now we have to wait for the full image... smh

People have opinions you know? Just because it's infodumping, doesnt mean it will neccesarily end. There is still Chapter 1 Color Page setting which the manga hasn't even touched.
Plus...Shueisha is already doing 2 things they historically don't do for a newbie that is supposed to be axed.
1) Not in the bottom row of the group cover/smallest etc.
2) Probably a fluke, but not even close to Bottom in TOC.

I have a feeling Beast-Tokyo-Taisei trio failing badly (and possibly worse than Saiyuki) gave this one a shot.

So true on the first count (seems it appeared on Tieba Baidu by a Chinese user, which was then stolen by @Spytrue account).

Seriously, for one low TOC ?
Because not all flop series begin in the bottom, sometimes they had this downward trend.
I remember saying the same(is only one low position) when Gakkyu Houtei had a low TOC.

Althought, that doesn't mean anything and can become a hit(Medaka escape that), you should be worried if this trend continue.

Pure ranking does not mean anything, but Saiyuki Chapter 15 was a climax of that Estelle arc from what I remember. Funny.

They are not going to axe Samurai 8 any time soon. The worst case I see for it is Robot x Laserbeam like end after 1 year of serialization or something. And for that, Kishimoto would really have to fail to not attract people who read the magazine in that time.

Even if Samurai 8 stays that low or worse from here on I imagine it'll still get at minimum a RxL length run because Kishi.

Plus if its really meant to be just 10 volumes long, they'd maybe just give it a full run regardless as long as sales are decent (which I'm sure they will be due to Kishi hype/marketing). Only problem there is making sure Kishi sticks to that plan and doesn't keep finding new plots to extend it Gintama-style.

TBH I really want to see Kishi do a concise focused shorter story this time around to see what he can do with it, though it's hard to imagine it based on the pacing of the intro stuff and the scale it seems to be setting up.

From what I've been told by friends and observed through net-surfing, it seems Samurai 8 has developed a very negative reputation online (pretty much all of the tweets I've read from a namesearch mention it being unpopular). Think how Black Clover was received in the ENG community for a good while and you have the same idea.

And just a guess but maybe there are no cancellations in this lead, after all the jump has 2 empty slots (left by hinomaru zumou and shogukegi in the souma).

Are you referring to this Japanese twitter poll for the Issue 34 (one where Hinomaru ended, though the poll itself does not mean anything)? I do find Samurai 8 getting 0 votes funny though.

No. It's more that every tweet I've found on the series through name-searching mentions "Yeah, a lot of people don't like this series". Even the people who like it seem to feel the need to note the negative reputation.
