Well, it's just your opinion, pal. SxF and Kaguya are two different manga and target different demographics. Your comparison is like comparing Vagabond against One Piece and we all know which one has more artistic value . Also, just my personal opinion, but first two volumes of kaguya is better than first two volumes of SxF, fight me and continue your anti-circlejerk circlejerk.

Yup, they must be priting a lot of copies so it'll take time. Also, we can expect KNY to add another million or two million to its copies in print figure until the end of the year.

Early Kaguya could have been straight serialized in Jump, it has a very shounenish feel (as do the most recent 2-3 chapters/student council gag chapters)

I cant even begin to imagine the wank if Kimetsu wins tbh. Either way, with whatever series that beats OP, you're gonna start seeing comments like "OP is dying/dead". Which is idiotic...

As someone already mentioned, AOT is probably the most deserving. Kimetsu is no where near OP's volume sales. So yeah, you can say that Kimetsu isnt deserving.


I would say that Ufotable played a big part as I saw a lot of people tune in solely over ufotable (not sure if that even applied in Japan lol) but again source material matters. If you look at Fire Force, it had a really talented staff backing it and made the series much more bearable than the manga but even then it sold poorly and the boost wasnt anywhere close to Kimetsu.

I dont think so. For example, I think its likely that Shimabu was offered to have Toriko be adapted by Ufotable but he probably chose Toei instead since a lot of classic titles came from Toei. A lot of his inspirations like Kinnikuman, DB, Fist of the north star & even one piece was made by Toei. Toei is more successful than most studios and more or less the same can be said about Pierrot. So you can see why mangakas side with these big studios that were responsible for their big inspirations and known for big hits. and also not all shows would look good under Ufo. Also theres the fact that Toei would without a doubt adapt much more than Ufotable could ever do especially in 2009/2011.

Ufotable is starting to become like that "Madhouse 2.0" where people started to blindly praise Madhouse over their HxH 2011 adaptation. Its funny people forget about God Eater and the same can possibly happen to Kimetsu if Ufotable starts to put too much on their plate. With Kimetsu's huge popularity, they can be pressured to pump out a season 2, who knows at this point. Kimetsu's production schedule was very good which is overlooked by fans.

Fire Force is one of the most boring series I read,so there is no comparison with Kimetsu to be honest.

Yup, it's Medaka Box. This manga's beginning is mediocre at best, but, swear to god, this is the only manga I would use "it get good X chapters in" to recommend (56 to be precise), but it does not just get good, it gets glorious.

The manga introduce a character so great, that he dominated the following popularity polls and became the highlight of manga.

The female character features in my previous post and Jovan post is another great highlight of the manga. She frequently breaks the fourth wall and feels like Nisio love letter toward WSJ.

I am sure madhouse is still a great studio with integrity.

Sadly Madhouse isn't like before,2 great directors left Madhouse.

I still consider Monster their best work.

by that logic Hell's Paradise should be given to the team that handle Tokyo Ghoul right? Muh tragedy.

There are fans who like "cutesy" stuff, and fans who like "edgy" stuff. Both side has obnoxious fan.

What Shueisha did for both KnY and SxF is ridiculous. Anyways I can see KnY volume 17 reach the 600k mark in its 4th week. Since there's a massive event for KnY 3 days before, I think it will favor its sales for that week.

Medaka Box is a manga very entertaining if you don't take it too seriously. I still remember that pages with Skills from Najimi Ajimu. Very good job of the Manga Editor at that time.

I also have to admit, I can’t see Jujutsu Kaisen going to any other studio but Pierrot. Hopefully I’m wrong on that. I dunno who animated the PV they did for the manga.

Honestly, at this point, I can only think this was both a mistake and a marketing strategy. They probably didn't give it a big initial print so they could gather attention for the reprints, but didn't expect the copies to run out so fast.

The fanbook was underprinted and the last volume fell within expectations or was overprinted.

Obviously its my opinion, pal. You're right they are two different manga but what I mean is what both fanbases reads/watches the series for (i.e romance/cutesy/comedy material). Its the same reason as people wanting a completely different shonen to be animated by the same staff that worked on another shonen.

I know. I find it more so with those fanbases which makes sense given how popular it is. Yes, you see with every popular shonen but with SxF/Kaguya its a different breed of obnoxious.

You proved my point lol...a talented staff can only do so much, you need a good source material. Clearly Kimetsu's source material helped a lot so not all the credit should go to Ufo.

IDs only saved 3 chapters. We can't guess any series ending. Everything will keep being published until Issue 48.

Well, here we have new ID Schedule. Same order as always, but with the difference that this time they only saved 3 IDs. As to why did they do that, we could have several theories:

1. They want to counter having saved 5 IDs in the past round.
2. They know about us knowing about this system and decided to either restrain the amount of chapters we can check or save a default amount of IDs and not necessarily fill all of them so we can't exactly pinpoint in which issue is each series ending.

Really hope it's the first one.

Now onto mention something that stands out: both Haikyu!! and Black Clover have 1 more ID than they should have. What I mean is, we know Haikyu!! will be on break next week, so if this whole schedule is only planned up to Issue 48, Haikyu!! would only have IDs 1005636 and 1005637, but instead has one more, 1005638. Same thing happens with Black Clover, which should end on ID 1005641 but instead does in 1005642. As to why is that, more theories:

1. Second theory from earlier becomes real and now IDs are saved randomly and not necessarily filled.
2. They may have some extra edition, special chapter, or any other thing they come up with to post as an extra and fill one more ID.
3. Developers fucked up.

All of this just comes to guessing, so anyway, not pretty important information, to be honest.

That's all. Depending on how this system develops with time, we'll properly know if M+ has taken action against it after the Leaked Interview Incident or not.

Oh, and also. Comments page is not up, neither is any of those which were taken down after the earlier mentioned incident. We may have screwed up for real. GG.
