Some of my predictions (bets more like)
-JJK anime will be very good, should have a respectable boost in sales, will cement its position as a main manga of the magazine.
-Act-Age anime announcement mid-year, to air sometime on winter/spring, it will also become a main manga.
-One of these new year beginners will be stable on the magazine
-Chainsaw-man will get an anime announcement by the end of the year, sales will continue to grow rapidly throughout the year.
-Yozakura will survive for quite awhile yet
-Samurai 8 gets transferred to jump+
-Dr.Stone will announce its ending before the year's end.
-Hunter x Hunter will have another hiatus year (lol)
-Worries about the magazine portfolio should subside.
-Kimetsu will last (a bit) more than people believe.

Kinda surprised you (and Ryuusei) think HxH won't return this year, since a full two-year hiatus has never happened before. Besides that, I think I pretty much agree with the rest of what you have.

I'm just hoping that Kenta Shinohara returns with a new series. He said that he's been working on something new, and I believe that he briefly mentioned it before he deleted his Twitter account.

main reason is that he claimed have nothing else to promote right now, he even mentioned deleting it once astra ended 1 or 2 months ago.

although, by coincidence, a significant drama occur in response to certain blood donation campaign ad, which he chimed in about. ont thing led to another, the whole thing spiraled out of control, propagated by the whole jump and female debacle a while back, (topically relevant but not directly related) which just so happened to coincide with the deletion

he said that he had say all he had said, I can't even give a summary because I don't want to spread any misinformation because can't really ouble check the tweets.

I do want to say, that he was civil in his responses and some people are taking his word out of context

he did say he will return eventually, probably when a new series is out

-mitama will sell 18k fw, yozafam 15k
-mitama will get a major shout-out that will boost it's sales
-black clover anime will end with this last batch of 50 eps
-bc manga will drop below 130k first month
-zipman and agravity boys will flop but live for over 3 volumes, but the next batch will have a hit
-kimetsu will get a gacha and console game announced
-infinity train will be in summer, boosting sales to over 1 mil first month
-s2 will be announced after the screenings of infinity train for winter 2022
-the yearly sales gap between one piece and the 1st or 2nd place seller will be less than 1 mil
-act age will get it's anime announced in April, chainsawman in august
-galaxy gangs will save the magazine
-and finally, people will still deny kimetsu beat one piece in the 2019 yearly manga sales

Toc is gonna be quite rough this start of the year without 4 series in the ranking for a while, some mangas will look worse than what they're actually doing.

Yeah, that's what I'm a bit concerned about. Once TSS and Beast Children end and before factoring in how new series will perform, I'm guessing Samurai 8, Mitama, Yuuna, Yozakura, Chainsawman, Act-Age and Jujutsu will be the ones in and out of the bottom 5, maybe even We Never Learn. However, half those series aren't doing bad at all.

Do you think the author of Spy x Family will give Mitama's first volume a shoutout? They tried giving one for a new comedy series in Weekly Young Jump, but that didn't help it at all.

I think Kimetsu can very well end in 2020 but we will see.
