Moderator Notice:
Henceforth, I will be deleting posts that complain about Weekly Shonen Jump having too many/not enough gag/battle/exorcism/sports/etc series.

These posts are not insightful, and do not meaningfully contribute to this thread. Also, this decision is not up for discussion, so posts discussing this decision will also be deleted.~ Halloween

You guys give too much relevance to these people, is just twitter shit talking, once the series end they will just move on, replying or posting screenshots all the time saying "Ohhh those people are so horrible, they're are the worst and etc" is just giving them the spotlight.

jump Ultimate stars was a great game, I played it for hundreds of hours... But the best aspect of it was its online so I wouldn't recommend it now that it's closed.

The new Captain Tsubasa game looks pretty cool if you are into soccer.
I played in a emulator when i didn't had internet yet and it still a 10/10 game, don't know what is so hard for them to create a new entry in the series with all the new franchises added, it would be perfect for the Switch.

Yeah, it's pretty sad that now Namco Bandai pretty much owns the Jump license or something and only makes mediocre arena battlers (I think that's how they are called?) like Jump Force or J-stars victory Vs.

I'd love a sequel to JUS or even just like an enhanced port for the Switch (Think like Smash Bros Ultimate) with around 15 of the new series introduced post 2006 (The year JUS launched IIRC)

I think I saw a video last year that CyberConnect2 is interested in creating a new franchise game (some say its gonna be Bleach but who knows). I like their Naruto storm games, they were really entertaining.

Anyway, I'm curious. Which WSJ series (NOT including Naruto) has had really good games? One Piece games are always so meh despite the potential they have.
Jojo's bizarre adventure (mainly ASB) and Fist of the north star.

I think I saw an updated report where KnY was seen by all kind of demographics, from kids to older people. Basically, an entire family.
Makes sense given the themes of the manga and would explain the large explosion in popularity.

Gonna be real awkward for those little kids when they see the heroes maimed horribly.

Well, would you look at that.

It made around 800k the next day. I wonder when the subbed premiere is. Hopefully this isn’t a sign that things are frontloaded. I’m curious as to how the movie will do here this weekend.

Stamped also had a big drop on its second day but recovered on the third one. We have to see how it does on the weekend, but making 2.5 million in a single day alone is really impressive. Also, the subbed version is already being shown.

I've been wondering lately if Chainsaw Man is going to get a reaction of complaint for the color pages it's getting. lol Yunna, Harenchi Gakuen and other series got it on WSJ after all. Yunna like 3 different times.

Fine. But only because you put your foot down as a mod.
(Sorry. Slow work day).
One Piece itself has good games. OP Pirate Warriors is the best game, and one of the best musou out there, with OP PW3 being the best so far. The DS games also were really good.

Outside of it, only Dragon Ball, Naruto and Jump Ultimate Stars from what I remember.

Let's see...

1. Harenchi Gakuen's outrage was because the manga (which ran when Jump was very much meant to be for little kids) was causing an epidemic of skirt-flipping at Japanese elementary schools. There was a hard reason for the backlash.

2. The Yuuna LCP you're referring to caused backlash because the shocked reactions being perceived as a motivator for sexual harassment. As for the Tapioca page, no one complained about that besides one crazy woman on twitter.

3. I have yet to see any evidence of a widespread controversy about the CSM CP on Japanese twitter.

Yeah, I don't think it will happen but it made me think considering the past cases.

Not sure if intentionally disingenuous, but add me to make it two.

Now it's more than one. :)

Tell that to the (formerly) 3 year old Jojo fan.

Yuuna's situations where perhaps victims of cirumstance. Besides, Chainsaw's color spread was in the center, not at the front like the Yuuna one (The chapter 69 LCP, not the 181 color page).

Jump Ultimate Stars obviously. I'd love to see a sequel for the Switch. I've discussed how they could adapt the koma systems to a non touch screen control system in the past.

Dragon Ball Z: Legacy of Goku 2 is a brilliant arpg. Tons of content. I still replay it every few years.
