Gut's telling me right now that the female protagonist is not going to get treated a whole lot better than she was in the one shot.

Would love to be wrong, obviously, but. Don't have a great feeling about this.

Everything I've seen from this series so far seems very creepy and something I can't get behind.

Its nothing unusual, JJK has always been a series that goes up or down all the time. And yes, Gojou is one of the most populars characters of the series. Nothing to worry.

I'm not worried, just surprised. Would've expected it to be pretty high up considering they're actively pushing it now, simple as that really.

Looked through the Undead one-shot again, and the feeling of "Zombieman: The Series" makes me really like it, but yeah, hoping the setup with the female character is changed.

The manga will obliterate One Piece in December and even take the volumes too where OP was supposed to be unbeatable as a 2 million seller. I wonder if Shueisha will start to promote Yaiba as the new manga number 1 in Japan this year or just pretend that OP is at the top as always

The big thing is that OP has remained at the top for so long that it's a guarantee it'll remain successful for as long as it runs.
It's a safe bet to invest in it. As big as Kimetsu has gotten, either it's ending soon (in which case promoting it over OP doesn't make a whole lot of sense) or they'll get Gotouge to extend it, which doesn't guarantee it'll remain as popular.

Not that I think it would be the biggest deal if Luffy shared his spot in the group covers with someone else or it didn't have the title of most sold anymore, but clearly Shueisha doesn't see it that way.

Based digital industry now bigger than the physical one all of a sudden, but only for OP. Kimetsu didn't sell a single copy digitally.

I absolutely love everything about the main girl's design, but Undead Unluck already seems to be off to a bad start. Could still turn out totally differently, but probably not.
