The Dumbledore can be just a old magician, but literally using the lightning symbol from Harry Potter in the manga logo is being a lot direct with the parody kkkkkk

yeh all that really shows hes a HP fan, if the author can play his own manga right it can be a hit. if he does it even better it may become the next ''one punch man''

Which raises a valid question...why is Komoto making a Harry Potter parody/spoof so far removed from when the series was running? Even ignoring the tainted reception of J.K. Rowling and the franchise, it just seems like a rather dated subject for a gag manga to be built on, regardless of the books fame.

cuz the being of: muscler mc to an magician world is a pretty populair trend in japan but an niche in the west. so it can be a great combination of HP cuz every western knows about it. it can make it somewhat modern for both parties if he plays his cards right (smart move would be to make the mc bit more relatable in an modern touch) , its actually a pretty smart move of the author.

look up mahou? sonna koto yori kinniku da! or the somewhat more rpg based isekai hataage kemono

As Buranchi and Rica said, I think the poll is interesting to know what people who post here would vote on Jump's form, and not anybody. I don't even comment a lot, but I'm okay with the filtering.

I don't think anyone was making a big deal. I don't know if I'll be allowed to vote for the time being but if not it's not like I'll be super mad. I just like to contribute to votes : D and I'm sure other people feel the same right?

They may, but tough luck.
it was clearly laid out why this was happening, debated on within this very thread, and nobody other than Shinuki argued for that side. At this point, complaining about the rule now that it's in effect only affects forum unity and makes Buranchi's job harder.

I dunno man, I feel like the first page is SO similar to Black Clover that it's kind of insulting to Tabata tbh. Like I know Magic and Wizards is very universal and I'm too sleepy to properly argue my point, but something feels like this manga might become a thorn in Tabata's side, I hope not.
The first page's introduction has a good flow to it though.
