Zipman is obviously getting cancelled, but chapter 9 is way too early to make a drastic development like this, an over the top transformation you would see when a manga jumps the shark late in its life after hundreds of chapters. Could it be that Shibata himself wants to wrap it up as soon as he can and go back to the drawingboard? Either way I hope next time he teams up with a writer, because this chapter too was a ridiculously underwritten nothing with some fantastic art for a battle manga.

Also am I the only one who hasnt been enjoying Act Age lately? The core is still fantastic, but this arc is way too long and these last few chapters felt very light and dragged out. It's really testing my patience.

The new serializations have been all very consistent for better and for worse. Guardian's execution still feels hollow and sloppy to me, but I'm loving the other two.

Note: The Top 19 is comprised almost entirely by KNY volumes with exception of the 13th place, the missing KNY volume is 18 at the 30th place.

That is one nasty drop, and yet it'll still sell more than Kamio Yui. I wonder if there's been any urgent reprint information for the series, and what the initial prints for both it and Yozakura were like. It's interesting seeing Yozakura maintain a strong position as well. I'm still going to call both surviving. Yozakura through sheer numbers, and Miitama through a combination of numbers and editorial support. Perhaps they under-printed Miitama, so that it can generate buzz and an appearance of popularity when it sold out?

We only get definite numbers with Oricon and that comes out on Thursday. However, Mitama and Yozakura both won't show up since that one only goes up to the top 50, so we'll have to base the numbers on Shoseki estimates.

The hope right now is that the lower expectations for gag manga help Mitama's odds, I guess. That or a printing issue, but I don't know likely that is.

Looking at the new chapter of Yuuna....yeah, this def seems like the setup for a final arc to make up the entirety of Vol 23. So 9-11 more chapters to go. We Never Learn meanwhile should end in about 4.

Say, from which manga is the girl on the right? I always wondered about that one.
Also I kinda want a manga named u19 now with all the protags of the canceled series meeting in their club and either shit-talking about newcomers in WSJ (like how dare Mitama got past the 19 already and wondering which series might join their club next), cursing the successful series (like Act-age or the sudden explosion of KnY popularity due the anime) or make plans on how to storm the WSJ HQ and take down every series with them, basically like villains with no bite.
Hope this page gets a continue page if Zipman or another series gets the kick before ch.19.

See this girl could in a U19 series for example complain how ecchi mangas get so many chapters, sales and even anime and merch just for flaunting tits and butts just to break down and cry that maybe her series would have continued if her mangaka had drawn her in a bikini to rake in some perverted fans.

Also did Momiji really sell 30k? Holy shit, this are some numbers other newcomers wish they had nowadays. xD

Guardian of the Witch second chapter was an improvement for me in a sense that I didn't like the first chapter at all, the chapter started weak and a continuation for the genericness of the first chapter "muh cliche character that loves to eat and sleep #38936465" and "muh op mc is super special #63983463"
I liked the ending and the plan they came up with to escape, so i hope they solve more of the conflict using their brain rather than hitting it with a sword..Fafuna smacked the arrows away? really?

Mashle is great again, people that were saying this was OPM clone, Mash got owned and completely outclassed by the headmaster

Andy killed the 2 pilots in UxU ch4 right a front of the girl again, he even told her to look at how he lunched his hand, so why is killing the Chinese guy fom last chapter was a big no-no again? also their new chaser being Andy ex-lover seems pretty forced

S8 is on a row, I really liked this chapter, all the new characters are interesting, this really should have started with a larger cast Hachimaru and Ann are really boring
I wish Goku wasn't portrayed is a shifty guy trying to awe Ann, that feel like he's being set up to Hachimaru to look much cooler than him
inb4 Ata shows up next chapter and start monologuing for 20 pages

like I predicted last week Agravity Boys did do a double bait and switch, the small intruder that was thought to be dangerous one wasn't dangerous at all

Mitama was pretty safe and uneventful this week

Yozakura started a development around Tayio parents' death which screams END GAME

I really liked Zipman's uses of different zippers from different enemies, that was unexpected and looked cool, the brother being kidnapped and Kaname awakening the suite solo power up is again rushed, but I guess if this is getting axed they probably need to rush and wrap up loose ends

I'm sure it was intentional. A tight fitting hero costume on a relatively muscular woman will reveal curves and lines like that, even ones she doesn't want seen. Inb4 suddenly Horikoshi is called out for being a "creep" or some sort of sexist or something for a realistic portrayal of tight clothing.

his parents death is catalyst of the manga events and biggest influence on his character actions

you can imagine why many would feel touching that aspects of the story is a fundamental change

and if a plot twist like "your family is still alive" or "the Yozakura were the one that assassinated your parents" happens it would be a change that can't be walked back to norm from

I mean, in the previous chapter, he had a high schooler randomly pressing her breasts together. And in the volumes, he’s added drawings of more of these high schoolers where he can, as he put it, practice sexy shots (which Viz usually leaves out of their releases). I thought the creepy part was obvious at this point.
