I imagine One Piece #96 will keep the trend and do something like a little bit less than 1,7kk first month (well, 95 already was below it, but a 2-day first week probably took away a few thousands from its numbers). Maybe during the year some marketing/promotion/manga hype/anime hype will break the trend a little like from 92 to 93, but who knows.

Feel bad for Shuiesha (ha!) once Kny is done. They will no longer be able to market one piece as the best selling manga for consecutive years or even for the volume versions. Makes you think what they'll come up with to market OP in the future.

Yeah, Kimetsu officially a 2M seller now. And yet no signs of stopping...

At this point I can only see it stopping if Gotouge does something stupid in the manga &/or prolong it like a part 2. If Gotouge does a TS and prolong the length of the series then we will see it decline eventually. I hope it ends with the current arc.

Kimetsu no yaiba exist

There will be always new readers/audience everyday and it's no their fault on why do they love generic mediums first if it's their 1st favorite series of their lifetime.

My brother does work abroad but his favorites are all generic stuffs unlike me i am more geek than him so he doesn't overlooked the generic content on it as long he enjoyed those stuffs, in short he is Normie.

Well, maybe it was my expectation. I expected him to be a member of the secret underworld elite aka illuminati and have a motive similar to, the Joker maybe. His monologue during the battle vs Whitebeard was freaking solid. Turn out, he was just a worse Crocodile with an entitled attitude and a melodramatic past.
Tbh, I think I am kind of a masochist. I still read TPN and S8 despite hating them with every fiber of my being. Maybe I will drop them and OP if they became as bad as Bort, xd.

Same here but what we got was brilliant with Doffy's character. He has more depth than Croc so I dont see how he's worse. I also enjoyed his speech during Marineford but his speech to Tsuru after his capture was equally as amazing. I have my issues with the TS but Doffy's character definitely aint one of them.

Every KNY volume with the exception of volume 19 being 2 million is truly a sight. Next stop is every volume crossing 3 million and that'll probably in a few months. AA hasn't shown a significant improvement, but DS has grown considerably, it used to hit 116k or around that within 4 weeks and volume 14 reached that figure it in 2.

I got a feeling we will be talking about KnY's gains and breaks all the time in 2020. Man, what a ride that gonna be~

Btw, can anyone tell me to which magazine Mieruko-chan belongs to? I tried to google it but couldn't find anything regarding that. Am talking about this manga:

I mean if they really wanted to, they can use the worldwide print numbers to brag about. Shimabu sure as hell used that to brag about OP's success in his memories with Oda-san one shot

The Oricon article said that KnY has monopolized the entire top 10 for 3 consecutive weeks, which is true.

Worrying about sales too much. Unless you think they'll cancel the series if they get low enough.
