Moderator Notice:
Henceforth, I will be deleting posts that complain about Weekly Shonen Jump having too many/not enough gag/battle/exorcism/sports/etc series.

These posts are not insightful, and do not meaningfully contribute to this thread. Also, this decision is not up for discussion, so posts discussing this decision will also be deleted.~ Halloween

Oumagadoki Zoo after My Hero Academia ends, i still think that series had the potential to be a hit for Horikoshi and maybe with all the experience and popularty gained he could write a even better "rebooted" version on Jump, it would be also interesting to see the characters with his current artstyle

Rephrasing my question, I guess it would be: Do you think any series be it canceled or not could have fared better if given a second chance by Jump perhaps once the author realized his/her story's weaknesses/strenghts?
This might be a shock to the people familur with me, but Samurai 8.

I actually think that, for better or worse, Kishimoto did have some genuinely very good ideas regarding the series. The problem is that it ended up buried under poor character writing, mountains of exposition, and the fucking Princess system.

I'm more excited for the premise of Kishimoto finally doing Mario (a gangster manga he supposedly had always wanted to do) he should go to a seinen magazine I don't wanna see a shonen gangsters manga!

I just remembered another manga that could work with a second chance, maybe.. Zombie Powder by Tite Kubo, I really liked its premise haha

I really think Psyren would work better in this age than what it did in 2008 and might actually get an anime if it was published now. Especially once TPN ends.

Apparently these are free Twitter icons and they're going to deliver more on the 25th. This may be completely random, but Undead Unluck and Yozakura being one of the first series to appear makes me suspect that they're gonna be sticking around.

Is Kimetsu's drop from last week's 2.5 mill due to volumes being out of stock? Or is it in addition to the fact that other series' volumes were released? I know this week the reprint boost should start to take effect so hopefully it'll be back up next week

Weakest week of the year for KnY, we might begin to get a better picture of where the peak will be next week after the reprints

I would also think lower sales (in general, not just KnY) are due to Coronavirus? I mean it surely affected somehow.

Also, can anyone tell me how many reprints does Kimetsu have scheduled? I think it was.. what 3 more reprints by end of April?

So far one yesterday/today, one on the 1st/2nd of april and one in the middle of april

Also I dunno, I don't think sales have been much lower despite corona these days, so

The Bleach fans are going to be screaming at this. Im more interested in the Burn The Witch adaptation, if that's true. Studio Colorido? They're working on Pokemon: Twilight Wings right now, holy fuck.
