While we're on the subject, what other WSJ series would you all say was just outright weird with the imagery/art?

Soul Catcher(s) was pretty weird sometimes, but it's more on a Shokugeki no Souma level of weirdness.
Chainsawman is truly something else.

The only one in Jump, methinks.

Taishi Tsutsui also does this. Like Horikoshi, he posted a sketch every week while the WNL anime was airing, and sometimes does it for special occasions (like when Nariyuki's voice actor got married).



He also occasionally posts videos of himself making quick sketches. He bandages up his hands so he doesn't get ink on them, lol.

I also read the speedscan of the latest Chainsaw Man chapter, and I'm convinced Fujimoto is on some really powerful drugs, lol.

Seriously, I can't recall a Jump series with such outright bizarre imagery. It's like an acid trip at certain points.

Although it got weird once it left regular Jump, but Bastard!! Is definitely up there. In what other manga would Satan himself make a Disney-esque musical number? Also pretty much the whole fight between Darsh and Porno (yes, that's her name) Dianno.

Why did she deleted it? Is it the same reason horikoshi deleted his pixvi account

I don't know where all this guessing comes, but this is just filling for series that translators can handle. Suito-to TLer and editor are the ones who did Samurai 8, so now that they're free they're working on this. They just basically got a bunch of TLers and gave them a few series to work on.

We need more authors who upload sketches in their Twitter like Hori. He's the only one doing that, isn't he?

Takeshi Konomi, mangaka of Prince of Tennis used to do this I think on twitter or Instagram.. But I think he stoped like last year or so, which was weird because he uploaded fairly frequently..

It's the current big mainstream battle shounen, that's just what happens. There's a certain crowd that hate everything about popular battle shounen but only watch popular battle shounen.

That's the name that Norma publisher decided to license it and since M+ uses their same teamwork/version then they must use such... Peculiar name.

It sucks though. But rules are rules.

So did Zipman fill up its second volume yet? I lost count of how many are needed to fill up the second one, but it's looking like it'll be another one to last 3 volumes at this rate.

It's mildly amusing to me to see Yozakura and Mitama tied because of the whole "older series goes first" thing even when Mitama has more chapters lol.

So did Zipman fill up its second volume yet? I lost count of how many are needed to fill up the second one, but it's looking like it'll be another one to last 3 volumes at this rate.

I think this week's chapter would normally fill up volume two, but there's no way they can squeeze another volume of content out at this point so my guess is it's just gonna get a second and final volume that's larger than normal.
