Mangaplus just updated with new chapters. I'm going to start up a new thing where, for the first chapter of a new serialization, I'll create a poll in this topic asking you guys to rank it from one to ten. Ten being perfect, one being terrible.

Bone collection different from kimetsu, TPN, chainsaw man and Jujutsu seems to have more focus on romance (somewhat reminiscent of Rumiko Takahashi's manga).

So I would say that he competes more with yozakura.

Bone Collection feels quite unpolished to me, like a web manga or something from Jump Rookies. It has charm for sure but maybe could've done with a couple extra drafts before serialisation?

I wish it wasn't stupid exorcists again though.

if the story is good, it’s okay to be another exorcism manga.
And just because it has exorcism does not mean it is the same as kimetsu or jujutsu.
Mitama has the theme of exorcism, however he is a gag, totally different from chainsaw man, Kimetsu and Jujutsu.

Same. It's passable for a first serialization on the first chapter alone. Throughout the chapter, it was predictable where it was gonna go. The chapter's ending had good timing though, so I'm at least giving it that.

Didn’t like at all the first chapter of Bone Collection. The drawings didn’t make me feel absolutely nothing (sure, I was not expecting something like Miura or Asano, but still the author could have put more feelings into it), they didn’t convey any kind of feeling to me. I don’t like the characters design and moreover the plot is not interesting or original at all. Probably won’t bother reading the 2nd chapter, unless I hear good stuff about this series. Also that boob grap was anticlimatic af.
Verdict: not impressed at all and dropped for now. It will most likely join the U-19 club

Mori King was hilarious, just like the 1st chapter. The thing that Moriking has to fight against other beings like him, is really interesting and sounds fun. The comedy hit as well. I’m really satisfied with this chapter

Bone Collection gives me the usual vibes of the Jump newbie that gets the axe in 20 chapters.

AMAZING Jujutsu Kaisen chapter. Easily for me the best manga in this weekly issue.

Bone collection feels really basic. Nothing in this series stands out enough for me. The Plot and Characters are bland, but the yokai designs are decent. I would definitely rank this below Mori King.

Besides that, this issue actually had some really good chapters. JJK is continuing with probably my favorite fight in the series so far. Chainsaw Man keeps escalating past the point of ridiculousness. Undead Unluck probably has some of the best world-building in Jump’s current lineup. OP and MHA also had nice chapters, with some great double page spreads. Black Clover was serviceable, albeit a little short. KNY was fine I guess.

Worst chapters probably go to We Never Learn or Mashle for me. I’m not a fan of the characters in Mashle and this is probably the most boring arc of We Never Learn.

Bone Collection’s art reminds me of ishojo. A little bit rough but it did have some charm. I think the author would be more suited for a romcom. I don’t think it will survive but it’s good to see the author get his foot in the door.

Mori King is definitely much much better than I expected, I have high hopes for it so far.

I feel like jump should do less comedy series and start serializing more darker and serious series considering TPN and DS are ending soon.
