Funny to think that most of the series running in Jump would get an NC-17 rating if the MPAA rated them.

Jigo's chapter was a great feels chapter. I do hope that Jigo can somehow catch up with SxF's enormous success with its eventual anime. It truly deserves it.

Despite it being the second most popular in Jump+ titles on mangaplus (or third if you look at Jump+ overall), it's still far, far behind of SxF in terms of popularity sadly. Like no one even mentioned that Jigo's chapter is out...
Put some respect on WEH’s name. Was the most popular Plus title for the longest time before the current hits we have now.

I did, hence why I said Jigo is 3rd if you look at Jump+ overall. Although iirc Jigokuraku isn't that far off and can surpass WEH with its current growth

The thing about World's End Harem is it's not a great series for Shueisha to use as the face of Jump+ if they want it to go more mainstream.

If the stars align, I think Jigo could potentially explode with an anime and solidify itself as the main battle fantasy pillar of Plus (pretty much is now).

Most jump anime get tv 14 ratings for there anime adaptations with only the more violent/raunchy (to love ru, jjba, hunter x hunter, fist of the North Star) get tv ma ratings. Even then less anime adaptations on jump even get ma ratings compared to champion and magazine

That too. Toonami usually rates Jump series mostly on the TV-PG to TV-MA range. Jojo's gets an MA on nearly every episode. HxH was almost always a TV-14 though, seeing as the anime did tone down some of more gory parts of the manga. On the flipside, Soma was almost always a MA, even if some parts were edited. Now i'm not sure if TLR ever got brodcasted over here, but i'd imagine that something like it and Yuuna would get automatic MA's even if they used the censored TV version.

Talking about jump plus, I feel that if spy x family and jigoraku get good anime adaptations then I think that it can become one of shueisha’s hugest platforms alongside jump square and young jump and it can open the door for shueisha also being a huge contender amongst other web manga platforms and can also cause higher sales in other plus series. I also can see plus also becoming the app to feature more alternative shonen series (considering jump doesn’t really have a more alternative shonen magazine like separate shonen magazine or monthly shonen Sunday) and a lot of there magazines are very standard shonen manga magazines. This also with them serializing more normal/mainstream shonen series like S x F and mato no slave.

That’s because normal tv broadcasting is more strict than say a movie theater and I would honestly bet all jump manga would be rated pg 13 except for ecchi, chainsawman, or some of jumps more violent 80s manga

Just the thought that Magical Taruruuto-kun would be rated Tv-MA over breastfeeding scenes and nudity makes me laugh.

Maybe the tamer ones sure, but if they were to do them unchanged from the manga, then we might see some R's or even NC-17.
Just for the sake of it, out of sheer boredom and the lack of anything to do, I'm going to try to see what would the MPAA rate the Jump series
One Piece:
Depends. Maybe a PG-13 or an R. Although it might be too bloody for a PG-13

HxH:
Manga stuff is R territory, if not NC-17 if we factor in the stuff found in Chimera Ant arc

Haikyuu:
PG or PG-13 material. Maybe leaning more towards PG-13.

BNA:
Maybe a PG-13. Though I've heard it can get pretty gory. So maybe also an R.

BC:
Mostly PG-13. Maybe an R.

YnY:
R due to the nudity alone. The.... "situations" (and especially chisaki's delusions) are also too lewd and suggestive for a PG-13.

KnY:
R stuff, might even be NC-17 due to all the decapitaions and the like.

TPN:
Mostly R stuff.

WNL:
Might be a PG-13. Nothing too bad here, aside from the occasional bath scene, but even that is quite tame.

Dr Stone:
Can't really say. PG-13/R is my guess.

Act-Age:
Can actually be a PG. Though I feel like the thematic intensity of the Iron Fan arc can push it to a PG-13

Jujutsu:
R with cuts. NC-17 is likely. I'm not quite sure on the MPAA's stance on body horror.

CSM:
R with cuts. An NC-17 is most likely.

Yozakura:
PG-13.

Mitama:
Nothing too bad. Some crude humor here and there but it's PG material.

Agravity:
....on one hand I feel like it goes further than what a PG-13 would allow, yet it's not R enough...I'm honestly stuck here.

UxU:
R. With all the cutting of body parts and the......mosiac..stuff.

MASHLE:
Could pass for a PG. Maybe a PG-13 at most.

GotW:
Could also pass for a PG/-13

Moriking:
Could also pass for a PG. Though that initial color spread of him near naked pushes it.

Bone:
Eh...PG-13 I guess from what Chapter 1 gave us. Too early to tell.

The Wall
Yeesh, that fall after vol 5...
Adding all that totals to 203,879. So I wanna say that the circulation number is in the hundred thousand range.
nice reading comprehension, fam, 3 days sale is equal to 10 days sale, amirite.

Yeah, but Spy and Jigo do it without boobs and bizarre nukige plots about evil feminists.
"I don't like its contents so its success doesn't count"
Nice argument.

mato no slave.

Idk what planet ur on, undead started in a generic seeming way, and got good around chapter 7 or 8. And since then, it's been solid every chapter.

Different tastes. UU was okaish first couple chapters, got interesting with the Gina part with the hinted world-building and really interesting when we got to the meaty part of what the goal of this series is besides Andy wanting to die. But that's not necessary good to everyone's taste.

I was surprised that issue 23 of the jump didn't leak earlier, despite the spoilers of One piece
