While Mashle may not be my style of humor, I will say that the art and action were superb this chapter. GOTW needs to find some way to stand out. As it is, I can't see it lasting much longer. UxU is probably my favorite of the newbies, with interesting powers and world building. Moriking is fine, I have no strong opinions on it. MHA, JJK, and KnY were good, the MHA chapter definitely stands out. CSM, I feel like needs a chapter to breathe. It has been going nonstop for a while now and I think that it needs to slow down, because after a while you just get desensitized to the craziness. Act-Age was also fine, this arc is definitely a step down from the previous one, which is probably intentional. All in all, A decent week for WSJ, at from the stuff I read.

HeroAca was really cool this week. The shoe’s finally dropping and things are gonna be messy from now on.

We Never Learn has this really good Sawako arc - except it’s supposed to be Rizu’s route. People really seem to be lowering their expectations for future routes based on this, but I still insist that all Tsutsui really needs to do is a halfway-decent Sensei ending to be forgiven.

I’m really curious about what this final Demon Slayer chapter will be.

Waiting on translations for Yuuna-san, but from the spoilers I got, it definitely seems like we might be finally headed towards endgame. Or we just establish a new status quo for shenanigans after all this.

Heavy Metal Yankees looks really cool, I’d love to see it translated.

Heavy metal yankees was a good oneshot, but I really think the Yankee theme wouldn't work in this day and age because it's most likely seen as an ancient, outdated theme, even in Japan.

It would work even better if it was in the vein of Megalobox, though. Maybe mix it with MMA elements, for example.

Yankee manga still work fine elsewhere, weekly Champion has at least 3 of them ongoing right now.

I don't know if the niche fanbase would be big enough to support one in WSJ though, champion has much lower requirements for what counts as a success.

Kirarazaka's art is really unpolished and the action is bland, though the comedy was ok and the lore behind Paira was interesting. Still not feeling Bone Collection. Black Clover was super rushed this week, Tabata's health is really taking a toll on him. Moriking is very feel good to me, I've surprisingly enjoyed it a lot so far. Mashle was great, those spreads were so fucking cool and Mash is so fucking badass, he is a great MC. Definitely my favourite series out of all the newbies we've had since Chainsaw Man's batch.​

Kimetsu no Yaiba had a really nice and warm chapter, this is the kind of chapter Gotouge excels at and why I enjoy the series in the first place. Act-Age seems like it is setting for some pretty big stuff, the past few chapters have been slow but they have been really enjoyable and have showed growth for both Yonagi and Arisa. What a gorgeous action packed Jujutsu Kaisen chapter, that cliffhanger got me really curious, My Hero Academia had the best chapter this week by far, there are so many things I could talk about but holy fuck. This is turning out to be my favourite arc in the series and Horikoshi only makes the stakes even higher. I can't wait to see what's coming next.​

Mha- one of my favorite my hero chapters and my favorite chapter in shonen jump this issue. I can only see things getting better from here and I even dare say if this arc is pulled off well this can be one of the most memorable arcs in shonen history and may even cause a sales boost once it gets animated.
TPN- I just want to say to anyone saying this manga was going down hill because it was being to rushed and/or to happy considering this is a darker series should read this chapter. I still can agree that tpn is no where near as good as it’s first arc it still haven’t gone downhill in my opinion
Demon slayer- While this is definitely not the ideal way I wanted things to go it still is a good ending in my opinion. Yeah the final arc could get a bit drawn out and did have some asspulls but I still enjoyed it and it didn’t take away from the series over all quality. I can definitely see the adaptation making tthis fight look god tier in the near future.
Chainsawman- I can honestly see this getting a fire punch type of ending considering the direction it’s going. This is my favorite manga currently serializing and I can’t wait to see how things unfold.
Act age- While it is still in a more calm stage at the moment I can definitely see a game changing arc around the corner. Just have to wait and see how things go.
Mashle- My favorite series in jump so far that I honestly hope it doesn’t get canceled. At first this seemed like a mp 100/opm rip off but this is truly something different. The art and fight choreography was on point this chapter
Undead unluck- another manga with a lot of potential that keeps getting better and better. I just really hope they don’t go back to the early chapter days.
Black clover- I feel this manga gets a lot of hate on this forum. It’s a battle shonen manga and I feel like it does it’s job well. No where near the best series on jump but it’s still an enjoyable read in my opinion.

Kimetsu chapter gave me the feels, so many cute moments that really make me hope that the anime has more of these casual scenes than was in the manga. I may have had some gripes with the second half of the final arc, but this is absolutely a great and fulfilling way to end things.
MHA was really great too, I hope the next few chapters do Shiggy justice because it's been hard to get over my initial dislike of his character.
JJK as usual has amazing fight sequences, best in the current lineup imo. Good chapter.
Moriking was really nice, if it stays consistent like this it's on its way to becoming my favourite newbie out of the current batch.
AA, Mashle and UU were great as usual
CSM is good but at this point I feel like the clown fiesta is getting too much, to its own detriment.
TPN: meh.
BC, DS, Bone Collection had some eh chapters this week.

After this week’s chapter, everyone here better swear loyalty to our new lord and savior Mashle, seriously such a hype chapter, the art, paneling and even the atmosphere was on point
Chainsaw Man continues to be the epitome of over the top and I love it, what a mad lad Fujimoto is

Kimetsu sure managed to have a nice second to last chapter here, with everyone making one last appearance, tho I would of liked a couple more chapters just to have more time for other characters, it felt a lil bit rushed to me but anyways looking forward to how it ends next week

Yozakura’s chapter def felt a bit random, would of preferred if this one was its own mini arc rather than a one shot chapter, like someone else said it felt a bit cramped

Moriking with a feel good chapter, I’m not particularly invested in the series yet tho I wouldn't mind if it stays. Bone Collection meanwhile felt just meh, like it was said the art could be more polished, it just doesn’t seems very inspired, like it feels a bit by the tropes

Heavy Metal Yankees looked so hype, Kawada’s art is a s clean as ever and the paneling as well, with the delinquent theme it will def feel refreshing in the rooster if serialized

Kimetsu's chapter was good, the final panel has left me intrigued. Jigokuraku also had a good chapter with interesting setup, looking forward to how these endgame battles will unfold.

Kawada's oneshot looks okay tbh, obviously I need to context to judge it but I have to admit I was expecting something different (nothing inherently wrong with the one shot). I'm sure I'll enjoy it once its translated. It does look like a oneshot that has serialization in mind, rather than a one shot that is just for fun.

And as for series that get worse later on? Shokugeki takes the cake. The series started to go downhill after its best arc, the Autumn election arc and especially after Azami was introduced the decline was very noticeable. Azami is the worst villain I ever witnessed. The central saga was awful and I dropped it during the final arc.

About TPN, I agree with all of you that this ending is being meh. But unlike other manga which had meh endings (Shokugeki, Nisekoi, Reborn mainly), this hasn't affected TPN sales for some reason.

They literally walk around and do nothing of interest to me. It’s chapter 3 and it felt like a throwaway chapter.
