Overall i don't have problems with gag series specially now that i'm able to read them but Nakano is really forcing a bit with so many gag/comedies lately, seems like he forgot that there are much other genres that Jump is missing.

Fucking Yabuki’s back? This will be interesting. The ecchi lives on as it loops back to the OG. I guess Yuuna finally is ending. Honestly, now that we’ve gotten to this point, that feels... really sudden, IMO. It’s been a ride.
What was that important announcement, by the way?

Tbh, only one of the new series interest me right now. Two veterans returning is nice, though. I wanna wait and learn more about the series, get a better look and more info. (Yabuki’s new manga looks interesting. Then again, I’m a complete sucker for romance. I hear Black Cat was good, so maybe this can be a pleasant surprise.)

The announcement was 1) that this week is the last chapter and 2) last volume will have a special edition with a couple of OVA episodes adapting two of the more fanservice heavy chapters.

Shaketsu no Niraikana. Does this mean anything in japanese or is just the names of the two main characters?

Also, from this same manga: since Hungry Marie ended, it looks at first glance Ryuuhei is back with the delinquent and baby premise

Shakunetsu (I typoed back there, fixed it already) means scorching heat and Niraikanai is a paradise across the ocean in the Okinawa and Amami's folklore. It's kinda hard to tell what's this one is going to be about.

No Kubo? I suppose it was a bit to early now that I think about it. The movie is coming in the Fall iirc, so it's probably better to start it in the later half of Summer than the early half.

I'm interested in the first two series in the new batch, but the second one could be boring depending on if it's a gag or not. Can't tell at the moment. It's starting in the issue after Neverland, wonder if it might be a lot different than it appears. Third one looks meh and the last one is another gag... Other than Mashle I don't enjoy gag manga. Also, two vets returning is a nice surprise. As of Issue 31, a total of 12 new series started in Jump this year. Are they going to a new record? There will probably be another batch in the Fall and maybe we'll finally get a new sports manga.

Since they replaced Miura with Yabuki, I wonder if they will replace Tsutsui with Komi when Bokuben ends. Although I'm sure most would rather Komi do a different genre. Might finally be time for that E no Genten serialization.
