With this Coronavirus pandemic, it is plausible that the guys are more focused on launching gag manga, so that people can have a smile in the midst of so much tragedy.

I would say the 2017 manga but I don't remember if he was already there when WNL and Dr stone came.

Looking at that gag series for issue #31, hard to believe none of the dozen of interesting one shots published in the last year were better received...

Not sure who thinks he wrote it, but the art really did make To Love Ru as good as it was. The writing itself wasn't bad, of course, but if it had had, say, Neverland's artist, it wouldn't have been the same. She's a really good artist, but it wouldn't fit. Yabuki's art is just what really propelled the quality of the series for me.

But he has 3 successful manga (4 if you count Darling in the franxx).
So I think it is safe to think that this new manga will also be a success.

Never thinked about it but why Yuragi-sou No Yuuna isn't in MangaPlus ? If it's because it is an ecchi, then we aren't getting Yabuki new series too I guess (cause there's a lot of chance of it being a ecchi)

I think everyone concluded it was either cuz it’s ecchi or cuz of licensing issues since VIZ doesn’t have the rights in US.
