World Trigger 21, which came out in December, was in the top 50 best selling volume of the semester at 364,518 units. JJK volume 8/9 were probably a little bit under 300k at the end of the semester (they came ou in January). So it makes sense for WT to sell better. But It's not going to take long for JJK to take over WT Just in the last two weeks, if Shoseki is to be believed, they sold over 15k, when WT was not in the top 500.

Sort of. It's not really a big part of Jump like battle manga is, but it's almost always there. Don't forget that Jump pretty much helped create the genre when they published Go Nagai's Harenchi Gakuen.
