its not like #53 is bad? its an improvement from volume 2 which in the month got more than volume 1 got in its month

The problems for Yozakura, unless Shoseki ends up telling a different story, is that it isn't really growing. As much as I like the series, if the growth is this miniscule they're gonna axe it sooner or later, just look at Sam8.

While it’s not bad, if we have quite a few new series that start doing better than that I can’t see them holding on to the ones selling less.

You guys need to stop using Samurai 8 as a example without any context, also S8 didn't even got stable, it sold less each volume, Yozakura is actually growing even if just a little.

I am still in the camp that thinks Bone Collection, Guardian of the Witch, and Agravity (Good night sweet prince) are next on the chopping block.

Neverland and We Never Land are close to ending at least for their run.

Bone Collection's not even ranked yet, for all we know it could end up really popular.

Also we know when We Never Learn will end if it continues to do 9 chapters per girl, it'll end in December unless it takes extra breaks.

I think some you are being quite biased with Bone Collection just because personal opinions, nothing so far gives any indication that the manga could get axed in this round, for some comparison, both Tokyo Wonder Boys and Buddy Strike that got canceled with 1 volume were already doing bad by chapter 6 and in the bottom at chapter 7 with TWB in last place, Bone Collection with 6 chapters has been so far well placed by editors, not something that makes it look like is going to get cut in 4 weeks or something

It'd feel weird for Mitama to end now when it's getting extra promotion on Jump+ and doing well ToC-wise. Sales aren't great but everything else seems to be going well for it. Though the last couple chapters did feel like it was possibly setting up an ending.

I think it's more reasonable for Neverland to end though, they certainly seem to be hinting at it.

I'm not expecting anyone to translate it until VIZ does, but the final volume of Blue Flag has an extended afterword from KAITO that seems to touch on the creation of the series. If anyone can read it, are there any interesting details? As far as I can tell, there's no mention that he's working on a new manga (or is planning to).
