Henceforth, I will be deleting posts that complain about Weekly Shonen Jump having too many/not enough gag/battle/exorcism/sports/etc series.

These posts are not insightful, and do not meaningfully contribute to this thread. Also, this decision is not up for discussion, so posts discussing this decision will also be deleted.~ Halloween

Kill Me didn't started bad, wish the best for Yasuhiro Kano with the new series, seems like he really found his home and also wish that Manga Plus would stop sleeping on it and release in english, not only spanish lol

I am still in the camp that thinks Bone Collection, Guardian of the Witch, and Agravity (Good night sweet prince) are next on the chopping block.

Neverland and We Never Land are close to ending at least for their run.
They only need to cancel two series since Yuuna and TPN are ending. Those two series will most likely be GotW and Agravity Boys or maybe Mitama Security. But I'm leaning more towards Agravity Boys. Whatever happens next batch, we don't know yet. We don't even know how many new series there will be. I agree that Bone Collection could be a prime candidate for cancellation by then. But that only applies if it doesn't gain any popularity. Personally, I think Moriking has a higher chance of being a success, because it's target audience is a lot younger. But we won't know for sure until we see the ToC placements and volume sales.

First place is World Trigger 22! WOOOOOOT!!!
Glad to see UU not dropping in ranks, could be even seen as a slight increase though ofc the whole Kimetsu backlog makes the Top50 look wonky af. XD
Mashle got another good rank as well but I don't think that this means they break 20k first week? Think my 15-18k was closer to the truth, not sure if that is the case though.

- Hinomaru Zumou's ending was good too
Unfortunately, as far as I understood, they rushed the ending, right? 😢
It was good but, damn, I wish it was better recognized.

But that question was good, I wanted to know some good endings as well.

Is tamura's return only theoretical or was there something posted about it? I don't remember anything about it.

There was a small preview for the new series for #29, #30, and #31 were posted in the preview for next issue.

Here's a closer look at it. His series debuts in #30.

-Mission of Yozakura Family is going to become the 10th Jump longest series
-It is selling decently
-It got some color pages

I wonder if Yozakura will manage to snatch an anniversary Jump cover in September-October

How does the current HQ volume compare to the last few volumes?

So there is a notable increase in sales for this volume.
Is this like KNY effect where people binged the show after airing via streaming channels and that led to an increase or is this just a one time thing for this volume!? Either ways, next volume's sales should be exciting to see.

Im so glad to see Jujutsu and Chainsaw performing so well even without an anime airing/aired.
Undead unluck and Mashle should also become a stable series too, I think they are out of the axezone pretty much
In between SxF, Act-Age, Jigokuraku, Jujutsu, Chainsaw, Unluck and Mashle, shueisha will have enough material to compensate for the ending of their long running series. (although Jigoku is on its final stretch)

*cough* Act-Age too *cough*

Jokes aside, Act-Age backlog has been doing really well on Shoseki recently. When Volume 10 released a few months back, the first 9 volumes only showed up on the daily charts for 4-5 days before falling off. This time around however, it's been three weeks, and all 10 volumes of backlog have stuck around in the daily and weekly charts. By estimates, it's backlog has sold a total of 90k over the past three weeks.

There should be some noticeable growth for Volume 12. The series seems far off from its pre-anime peak.

Is Act-Age a member of 100k club now?
I'm so glad. To think, my best wish for Act-Age used to be for it to continue the 20k club mantle of Hinomaru.

Wasn't Act Age a member of this club from few volumes ago? A few more volumes with constant growth and it might even overtake BC in sales per volume.

I don't know what held HZ back from growing. It's one of those anomalies. I feel bad for the mangaka. He'd be happy he got to make a successful manga in WSJ with an anime adaptation.
But the success itself was so limited. It's not something you'd expect for a series that is running in the most mainstream magazine. Maybe sumo wrestling just didn't appeal to so many.

Yonagi will likely become the next top waifu for Jump fans at this rate.

Although she gets props for at least being a well written heroine and hardly being fan service fodder.
