Henceforth, I will be deleting posts that complain about Weekly Shonen Jump having too many/not enough gag/battle/exorcism/sports/etc series.

I wonder if TPN will get a complete adaptation. Assuming it sticks to Noitamina it probably will never get more than 24 episodes in one go (and Noitamina rarely does 2 cour shows and most sit at 22 or 23 episodes rather than 24 with Banana Fish and Honey and Clover being the only two ever with that number) so it would take 2 years at least to finish what's left.

I wonder if Manga+ is going to pick up a few proven Jump+ series (like 'Tis Time for Torture and Vertical World) or if they'll just go with newer series. I'm not one to normally care about "slots" or whatever but they haven't picked any up in the last 7 months and have lost 5 (although Blue Flag was only monthly).

If I'm counting right they currently have 9 running (Spy, 'Tis Time for Torture, Jigokuraku, Summertime, Heart Gear, Sa-chan, Abyss Rage, Vertical World, Moon Land, [also Technically Soloist in a Cage which has been on hiatus since March 2019 so I'm not counting it]) so I don't think they desperately need to pick up new stuff but it still would be nice.
I wonder why they aren't doing the chibi Jigoku spinoff.

I hope TPN gets an anime original end. Anything would be better than what we got.

Eh, it's about as likely as ufotable pulling a TG:re with the rest of KnY. We can see by the several projects coming up for TPN, that Shueisha still sees value in the franchise for a while. I'd imagine that the production committee on the anime would also like to get in on it for a little longer (while the first season didn't necessarily do well in BD sales, it did give the series a lot of longevity).
Just thinking in the worst case scenario tho. It can also get an original ending so that it would be more acceptable than merging the whole thing in 12 episodes. Of course hypothetically speaking. Hopefully we get more seasons in the future.

Neverland getting a full adaptation sounds more likely than Food Wars getting one. Yet, the latter did happen

I think the live-action movie + the game + the amazon show will help keep the franchise popular, so I see no reason for the anime to get cut short with an anime original ending

It's not the same at all to be honest considering KnY is being a huge money maker for Ufotable and Aniplex as well, but I still think TPN will probably get a full adaptation.

Just read Leo x Leo, the oneshot that was the basis for Ayakashi Triangle, as a way to set my expectations. Not much to go by, here, but I found myself a little excited.

Twas honestly a pretty chill read. It’s got a few cliches here and there, but nothing too eye-rolling - probably because it wasn’t too exaggerated. I liked the relationship between the two leads, it was cute. I can see myself reading more of this.

Judging from AT’s premise, I’ll have to prepare myself for more exaggerated characters to go along with the action. So, wackier, lewder, hopefully not annoying hijinks. Also, I’m guessing there will be different context behind the twist as well. I am interested in seeing how the action elements will play a role here. I hope that the relationship between the leads is at least as cute as that in the oneshot.

Overall, I think I might take a liking to AT. I don’t think it’ll be the best manga running in the magazine, but it could be something I’d really like if it executes its premise well.

they aren't doing any spin-offs (including Vigilantes which Viz already translates anyway) so there might be something there

That’s funny cause it’s true lmao nearly all of the supporting males are either forgettable or just annoying, and let’s not begin with Rito
Most of the male characters are usually background fodder or worthless (like Rito). Gid is at least a badass, but we barely saw much of him until Darkness.

Read that short oneshot thing for Ayakashi, I'm intrigued 👀

Assuming the full series includes these elements I'm kind of amused this is coming out the same batch Tamura is coming back lol.

Don't know if this counts as a spoiler but I'll tag it as it, but regarding ecchi in the series: there's not a single ecchi panel that can relate to To Love Ru or any other ecchi series, at least in this first chapter. There are merely 2 panels with some NSFW content but because of the plot that's being explained and barely accidental exaggerated ecchi.

Also:

That's a lot of people congratulating them
I'm surprised they didn't mention that Gege's also congratulating Miura for Yuragi in there.

Look, I saw the two images and
it doesn't look like that "classic ecchi".

Okay, now that’s intriguing. I think that he has some real confidence in his story. Maybe that element will show up later, though. But I’ll wait till Sunday.

As someone who isn't a fan of ecchi series, if the focus is on the story I'll definitely give it a try.

If the story is only there to drive the ecchi moments, it'll probably be a big NOPE from me.

Anyone who thinks that Yabuki will go to ecchi because mangaplus will publish Ayakashi triangle, don't forget the orgy of Chainsaw man, if Fugimoto did that nonsense, don't be surprised by anything that Ayakashi triangle can have.

Same here. If it focuses more on story, characters, etc. more than ecchi moments I’ll be interested but if they do focus on ecchi moments more than story than I’ll probably not read much after the first few chapters.

So I’ve heard. I had only thought of the possibility of being like it after considering the author and the fact that this is replacing Yuuna.
