not sure what censorship has to do with this but they are more relax on cancellation. Hachuurui-chan wa Natsukanai started exactly a year ago so it lasted far longer than most Jump axes would and RWBY is a multi-media tie-in which regularly only last a few volumes so I doubt it was axed rather only planned to be 3 volumes from the start with probably a new RWBY manga starting in a few months to take its place like when the previous one ended.

RWBY has already a bad reputation, especially after Monty's era.

Mystery manga with mermaids? It also took me by surprise. I take back what you said earlier about Tamura, this can be interesting.

finally got around to translating MY LITTLE MARS (oneshot from earlier in the year). It's a rough translation, but better than nothing.

I'm a bit late to comment it but I really liked it! Promising. I hope it turns into a series.

After seeing this TOC and reading what Ryuusei commented on it...I think I’ll have to agree. Once this batch kicks in, over half the damn magazine are going to be newbies. So there’s going to be some that get a high ranking no matter what. I prefer and wait and see how they do on the sales charts.

Liked the Ayakashi and WNL CPs. I was hoping for something more dynamic with Ayakashi, but this works. (Also, not as lewd as I thought it’d be) WNL‘s is quite cute, then again I’m biased towards Fumino.

The third series featuring a hard-boiled detective actually has me intrigued.

Bone Collection was hilarious for me up until Ch 5. Since then the last few chapters have been rather bad imo but not without moments that still trigger enjoyment. Not surprised to see positive initial reception but I wonder if it can keep it up.

Will be kind of disappointed if Tamura just recycles Beelzebub only replacing delinquents with detectives and demons with merpeople. Regardless, I love his comedy, characters, and world building so I'm sure I'll still be on board.

Also, I imagined mermaids as well. Hence why I wrote merpeople as I assume like Beelebub we'll get an undersea world or something like Beelebub's demon world with unique merpeople of both bio sexes.

Though those are two different things. A private detective would be a "tantei" (探偵), while a police detective would be a "keiji" (刑事).

Pleasantly surprised at Bone Collection starting so high, there's hope for it after all.

Still baffles me as to why they're starting two different exorcist romcoms pretty much right next to each other. Bone and Triangle are about as direct competition as you can get, I hope they don't divide votes and end up cannibalising each other. We've seen from WNL and Yuuna that there's room for two romcoms in Jump, so it'd be nice to have two more taking their places now that Yuuna's gone and WNL's probably leaving at the end of the year.

The future's looking alright at the moment at any rate with Undead and Mashle doing well, and Moriking and Bone having great first placements (I hope they can both keep it up).

Now to wait and see how long it takes them to get a new successful sports manga or two. Or how long it takes them to even start one.

I'm not super surprised with Bone Collection. It was funny when it was meant to be funny. I haven't read after chapter 2, so not sure how it goes from there. But I expect chapter 2 to also have a decent placement.

Also, Mashle CP. It's here to stay.

Didn't Nakano state that he would be utterly disappointed if they didn't get a new hit from Mashle and UxU's batch?
Guess they really can tell sometimes if some series have potential.

So, there's a chance The Promised Neverland season 2 gets delayed again, another anime was announced to run on Noitamina starting next winter. It's either getting delayed or they changed the airtime, but this is completely out of nowhere regardless.
