Making a successful gag manga is no easier than making a successful battle manga. Just because they require different strengths doesn't make one easier than the other. Saying otherwise is very shortsighted.

Lol just realized that Honomieru’s artist is Matsuura, now I’m more hyped for this one, so happy to have him back so soon after TSS, his art deserves to be on a successful series that lasts. hopefully it escapes the same fate as other GFC winners.

I think what he means is the technical aspect of drawing. You dont Have to draw high performed anatomy panels like in mha or black clover, which is harder to draw. An manga like roboco is faster to produce than something like berserk, again it has to do with the mangaka skill itself since he/she can draw these technical manga fast cuz they drawing their whole life time. But you know the principle

Senku isnt the same "tier" with Deku but with Asta and Itadori, hes just very slightly bigger and the big hair helps a lot but its literally shoulder to shoulder with Asta. The cover its pretty much what they did for a while after Naruto ended, they made Luffy and Koro-sensei bigger than everything else since they didnt have something at the same level to replace yet, if Jjk do gets big with the anime the next one in December/January will probably make things more clear

even Raven Burai which lost 2017 GFC got serialized (albeit in a miniseries form and online only) before it

at this rate Masaoki Shindou will complete 3 years without receiving his prize

More than likely Shueisha just believes he's too young.

Incidentally, we've now gone another year without the GFC, so it seems that the contest is well and truly dead.

Okay, Ghostwriter seems to actually be holding better than the other two in it's batch. Though I think that says more about Moriking than it does about Ghostwriter. Not looking too good.

And I'm guessing Rengoku got axed. Jesus, #404 with only three days. I had thought it ended on it's own terms (maybe it did) but it's unlikely. Also real surprised at how well Torture Princess is doing -at least, it's doing ebtter than I thought.

Ah, it's the 6th. I can see why Mashle dropped more than usual - I thought it just fell below the Kimetsu Wall, but that was the initial drop. Turns out, new established manga from other magazines came out today. Gotta check on those.
