Didn't laugh once during the first two chapters. It didn't click with me at all.

Me, too. All the humors are cringy. Aggravity Boys makes me laugh far better (with the exception of the overused Chris' gender joke). Even Moriking, Magu-chan, & Robocco, which I was pessimist about all of them in the beginning, could make me laugh in their second chapters. This one is just... ah. I have no words. I feel for the main character, though, his life is even worse than Moriking's Shoko.

I am suspicious to say, after the jump started 8 comedy manga, I already had a lot of patience for comedy. So I can't say whether I liked the high school family or not.
All I'm doing is hoping that either Phantom Seer or Bokura will survive, at least one of them is already good.
I think the jump could axe 3 of these comedies and put about 2 romance in place, it's a genre that is very successful in the magazine and in the young jump.

I didn't really like or dislike Highschool family. It gave me a small chuckle, but that's it. However, if it's going to be such a short manga (in page count), it doesn't need to do much. It's not offensive or a chore or anything, that's fine.

What are your thoughts on High School Family? I just read the first two chapters and it was hilarious.

Interested to know what others think of it. I can see the comedy in this being a definite hit for some and a definite miss for others.

Didn’t like it at all, it was painfully unfunny to me. Probably isn’t my cup of tea as comedy is subjective.

I was a big fan of high school family's first two chapters. Nearly every gag landed for me and the premise feels like something that could be classic.

Transparent Kid is okay. I liked Tokyo Shinobi Squad a hell of a lot better.

New vampire series doesn't seem up my alley but I'll give it a try.

Issue 43 is the only one we don't know what is getting the cover. Unless big surprise, it should go for Jujutsu Kaisen because the anime (the other 2 contenders for this issue for me were One Piece and Dr.Stone. But Dr.Stone is already getting color pages next week, and unlike last two times, the end of the pre-break chapter for OP didn't say anything about getting a cover when coming back)

People kept saying the same thing right until Kimetsu blew up. That no series will ever do what OP did ever again. Here we are now.
No one can predict what series will or will not blow up.

No, I think One Piece was attainable 38m isn't that much for a series with about 50 volumes at the time it blew up (less than 1m per volume), 70m is literally insane with 20 volumes. I really don't see it happening..
