Henceforth, I will be deleting posts that complain about Weekly Shonen Jump having too many/not enough gag/battle/exorcism/sports/etc series.

These posts are not insightful, and do not meaningfully contribute to this thread. Also, this decision is not up for discussion, so posts discussing this decision will also be deleted.~ Halloween

MANGAHELPERS "TOC" POLL ISSUE #44 - VOTING!

The poll for issue #44 is now open HERE! (We have Kimetsu no Yaiba One Shot and The Promised Neverland Side Story included!)

ADDITIONAL 5 J-POINTS TO VOTE IN THE EXTRA SERIES (READ)

With literally 10 extra series being able to be voted in this week, i thought about giving each Member extra 5 J-Points to use only, and if you want to, in these extra series that are not published on WSJ, it's important to notice that if you want to put any of these series in the main ranking with the 25 J-Points, you can do normally, these 5 J-Poins are only if you want to vote in some of the extra series but don't want to take out points from the main magazine, you're also not obligated to use, if you don't read any extra series or just don't want to vote in them, it's fine but you can't use them in the main ranking

Obs: The distribution of these 5 J-Points needs to separated from the main ranking.

The extra series this week are:

Blue Exorcist 125
Seraph of the End 95
World Trigger 202
Twin Star Exorcists 86
Platinum End 55
Spy x Family 34
World's End Harem: Britannia Lumiére 14 & 15
Kaiju No.8 12
Ghost Reaper Girl 7
Excuse Me Dentist, It's Touching Me! 10

Good Votes!

Will Ayakashi and Mashle make Oricon top 50 you think?

Judging by the first 3 days of vol 2, the impression is that Mashle didn't really grow with vol 3, ofc need to wait for Oricon or Weekly Shoseki but ranking wise is basically the same but slightly down.

Agravity Boys hold really well in this third day, vol.2 was at #246 while vol.3 is at #187

Estimates:

19.865 MASHLE
*5.700 AGRAVITY BOYS
*2.475 Time Paradox Ghostwriter
*2.120 Mitama Security

MASHLE has higher numbers in 3 days than Volume 1 had in 4, and of course lowers than Volume 2 in 6 days, so we'll need 2nd week for that. AGRAVITY BOYS has the same exact numbers Volume 1 and 2 had in the same amount of days, so literally 0 growth again. Rest is axed.

According Shoseki, Agravity Boys is virtually doing the same, slightly better:

Vol.2: 5,585
Vol.3: 5,700

Considering everything, it's quite impressive for Agravity Boys

Readers did Moriking really dirty, only 2 days on Shoseki and not even charting in the Weekly Top 500, Hasegawa didn't deserved this treatment...

Really cool idea those 5 extra points, I never voted for Jump+ series until now as they were not part of the magazine (I know that's kind of silly, but I prefer to make a ranking only with the WSJ series). Anyway, thank you for this idea, I find it really great !

tbh moriking has been the only new series that couldn't even keep me reading. Moriking just was a failure imo

I'm not really a fan of Moriking, but it its'n that bad to last 2 days in Shoseki. Also I find amusing that Agravity Boys always ranks about the same and sells the same amount, even if it's still a flop. Looking forward to Oricon numbers for Ayakashi Triangle. Maybe around 30~40k?

Were Vol.2 and 3 sold within the same amount of days or did Vol.3 had one day less or more time to sell before the weekly count was made? Not that it matters that much with numbers so small, but depending on how the other new series fare, Jump might keep a tiny increase each volume for one more axe round over nothing.

Every volume of AGRAVITY BOYS has had 3 days on their first week. It literally doesn't move from 5k copies. And next week we'll be back to 9k.

Sorry, that's not what I meant.
I think the series isn't bad enough to have such terrible results. Even through I'm not a fan myself, I think it deserves a little better.

Okay then. :c

Just outta curiosity, are the first three volumes of UU still ranked within the Top500 or did some of them leave it by now?
