It is on manga+ as a series, you can click the banner at the top mentioning it and go to its page, they just don't have the chapter itself for some reason.

My guess is it's just a mistake on the technical side. We do occasionally see weird screw-ups on the site.

Ame no Furu was actually pretty good. Some of the references to the candy and their naming schemes were very One Piece-ish, but it actually felt like a proper first chapter instead of a one shot, something a lot of series don't seem to get quite right.

Sorry guys but candy flurry issa axe for me... female mc is alright but the rest is like complete fodder whatever, also comedy doesn't strike and feels straight of some 90's unkown battle shonen

Daily Shoseki Top 500 - 4/17/21

10. My Hero Academia #30
37. Dr. Stone #20
59. Black Clover #28

Sakamoto is out, probably from now it will be most the 3 on Shoseki and maybe some appearences here and there by SD
That's a small rise from yesterday, and the episode was pretty good. I hope we're in for some backlog, even if not an insane one, but one whice will put all the volumes at the very least at the top 500 and up to the top 100.

Candy Flurry was fun! Looking forward to seeing where it goes. Blue Box was very cute, I enjoyed it. Nothing was really a let down for me this week, solid issue.

Witch Watch was cute, more proof that BL would work in Weekly Shonen Jump.

As someone who very rarely likes Yozakura, this chapter was pretty good. Solid lore and action. The bit about "destiny" at the end makes me wonder if it's ending sooner rather than later but it's pointless to speculate on that right now

Undead was pretty good, this arc continues to deliver

Mashle was surprisingly brutal with it's action this week, but I still enjoyed it

Ayakashi was good, probably the most dirty I've felt reading a chapter so far in a weird way

Magu was alright, it was nice to see the cult stuff come into play, but otherwise the usual stuff

Dolphin continues to deliver with it's flashback, which doesn't even seem entirely done yet. For a series nearly dead, it's done a pretty good job at reviving my interest in the series, at least a little bit

Roboco was great, cute and funny, and the reference humor landed pretty well. The Piccolo arm color got a good laugh out of me

HSF was good, a bit weaker on the comedy this week but I'm surprisingly invested in the Dad and the volleyball team so I'll take it

Sakamoto was pretty good, great action and keeping interest in the arc

Elusive was pretty good as well, I like how both sides have to work as teams to defeat the other, with the bad guy's formation getting a good laugh

i tell c was okay, at this point I'm waiting for it to die, don't really care about the characters or story. At least we finally have an answer to that question

Witch was good, cute stuff

Kowloon was pretty good, interested to see how they work out the shortstop. Fingers crossed it can survive this next round of axes but I doubt it

Blue Box was pretty good, nice follow up to the stuff about nationals, and the main duo is cute. Still have to see where it goes from here

Candy was surprisingly decent, the candy powers seem interesting, and the lore has my attention

Dr Stone was great this week, very excited to see where it goes

Huh, it`s seems like candy flurry is getting attention, it`s a shame that it still not uploaded the first chapter on mangaplus, which is where i tend to read the most. Maybe a technical issue on their part, but i really wish to read it today if it`s possible.

However overall, the entire issue was rather strong with all it`s series.

Ame no Furu was uh... definitely a first chapter. Actually, it was kinda bad imo. Aside from the weird premise, it’s the same thing over and over again. Nothing new. Also, the art was kinda plain. The cliffhanger was good, but we all know how it’s gonna go next. So many cliches already. I’m not impressed honestly. I’ll bother with the next couple of chapters, hopefully it will get better.

It seems like I am the only one in this thread who didn’t like it, damn

Candy Flurry first chapter was pretty good and the ending was nice. If this series does survive, I can see potential crossovers with Mashle given Mash's obsession of cream puffs/sweets lol

Ame no Furu is a bizarre mix of MHA and Kill la Kill, but I kinda liked it

Candy Flurry was pretty solid. Nothing crazy that made me go “OMG!!! I can’t wait for the next chapter!!”. But about as solid as a first chapter can be.

This week's top 5:
1. Magu-chan: God of Destruction - This chapter made me laugh so hard. So hilarious, and I'm glad to see the cast expanding a bit more in a way that ties into the overall backstory.
2. Mission: Yozakura Family - I somehow didn't see this coming. but I'm insanely hyped for this development. This upcoming battle is going to be fabulous, and I'm definitely seeing more story to come after this arc wraps up.
3. I Tell C - Called that this development would happen soon enough lol. However, this use of humor should've been what the author strove for from the very beginning. Much like Double Taisei, the series is more enjoyable when the chapters are more humor-focused.
4. Mashle - Maracon has actually turned out to be a fantastic rival/antagonist character. This battle is filled with such massive amounts of hype, and those powers were pretty awesome to see. Best ones we've come across in quite awhile.
5. Ayakashi Triangle - Pretty funny chapter. Short, sweet, and straight to the point. Both the ecchi and humor landed nicely this week.

The best of the rest:
6. Sakamoto Days - Another solid follow-up chapter, and I'm glad that the poor dude seems like he's going to be sticking around more so than the other temporary villains introduced so far. I'm pretty curious to learn more about this new group as well.
7. Blue Box - The chapter itself was pretty good, but not too much felt like it really happened. Don't get me wrong - it was definitely nice and sweet. However, I'm concerned that it might end up going too slowly for WSJ-tastes.
8. Me & Roboco - The chapter itself was alright, but that last page was super cute. Hopefully we can get some more chapters focusing on the supporting cast again soon.
9. High School Family: Kokosei Kazoku - I think the author has realized by now that the dad is the fan-favorite character. I feel like I can't remember the last time the others were the primary focus of the series lol.
10. Candy Flurry - This first chapter felt pretty dull. The humor wasn't very strong, the fight scenes were over in a second Moriking-style, and the artwork was alright at best for this type of series. I'll give it a few more chapters, but this was a pretty big letdown for an opening chapter.
11. Undead Unluck - Looking forward to Andy and Fuuko finally being the primary focus of a chapter again, or at least I hope they will. All of these villains from Under have been pretty lackluster to watch.
12. Witch Watch - Pretty boring chapter. This series is starting to give me the vibes of being pretty dull. I might end up dropping this one since it seems like it won't be axed soon if things don't become interesting soon.
13. Hard-Boiled Cop and Dolphin - Even more backstory. I wish I could remember more about who all of these people are lol.

You right it has been a long time a first chapter ends on a cliffhanger I might be wrong but the last time it happened was jjk

Cute male lead character of Candy Flurry makes it a must read. Everything else is interesting, but in some ways just feels like a HeroAca AU.
