"The cancelation of The Hunters Guild by Yuki Kawaguchi was unexpected because of how effectively the series knocked down preconceived notions of what constitutes a fantasy shonen"
how can you not even research for doing this article. there is so many thing wrong..
its like read from twitter, and new fan who know nothing about jump at all, and spread all nonsense they heard.
dragon ball (and old series, OP, naruto, etc) will cancelled in this day/age, its stupid take. and will always been.
are you serious??
stick to comic, please, if you dont bother to do it right..
Obviously a salty Red Hood fan wrote that, but the sentiment of "well uh Dragon Ball and other famous shonens had a slow start too" that i've seen a lot doesn't even consider the fact that the axing was much more ruthless in Dragon Ball's time. 3rd EiC Shigeo Nishimira was alleged to have a policy that spelled out the axe if your series wasn't popular in 10 weeks. There hasn't been any 10-11 chapter axes in quite a while.

Exactly. These clowns are frauds and grifters to the max. Their clickbait crap infuriates me to no end. I don't personally think they are really into this stuff at all. It's just become a lucrative market to stick your nose into.

Ayatri, Undead Unluck, magu chan also droppedKinda surprised of TES dropping since in the first volumes you expect series to grow even if its a slowly growth but as long as it matains itself and doesn't decline too much it's all good.
"RH knocked down preconceived notions of what constitutes a fantasy shonen by not having adventures in an fantasy adventures seires. "
in my opinion, this is why writers need to stop doing entrance exams when you first start a story, maybe it worked for most series in the past, but now, you really need to hold off until the 20's or so."RH knocked down preconceived notions of what constitutes a fantasy shonen by not having adventures in an fantasy adventures seires. Sakamoto Days had really good growth from vol 3, even WW should slight growth or at the very least stable and last month BB and Dandadan both had excellent growth and they released at same time as JJKI think everyone is jumping the gun a liiiitle early on TES. We're literally in the middle of a big paper shortage that is known to be affecting the manga industry. The incredibly lower sales of this latest Jujutsu Kaisen volume should have been a big indicator, but there's manga from multiple magazines, both big series and series that are definitely growing, that just aren't showing it right now because of production issues.
