Time to start praying for Blue Lock cover since that could mean anime

PS: Now, all the pre-2018 titles in current roster have anime. I guess 2018 titles are next (Edens Zero has already anime, Bakemonogatari is Bakemonogatari, so is just Blue Lock, Orient and Hitman). And maybe 2019 too since is just Soredemo Ayumu (I hope we get a Cuckoo anime announcement in late 2022-2023).

Once Eden zero gets an anime it will be a pillar for sure.
It’s to soon to say that TBH, for all we know it may end up in the same situation as Fire Force

You got a point but I’m sure the fairy tail fandom will have a field day with the anime adaptation. I think due to the fact the fairy tail is still such a huge series and the anime ended a year ago I vs soul eater and fire force having a 10 year gap I am sure that the fairy tail fandom will at least watch the show and buy volumes. Even then fire force has a big fan base and manga sales are pretty good. Not SDS level of popularity but still popular. At least it ended up better than domestic na kanjo.

Take with a grain of salt. Studio rumor was Lidenfilms.

The bar is set pretty low for becoming a pillar for WSM. Then again WSM titles in general struggle with becoming huge hits lol. I think Edens Zero has a good chance in becoming a pillar, once we know the studio/staff it'll be a bit more telling I guess.

I don’t see many people talk about this but I think there is a good chance that to your eternity can reach a silent voice level of infamy if the anime is good. A silent voice also wasn’t made that long ago and it’s considered to be one of the best anime/ manga of all time and it has had commercial success in Japan and the US. I think that the fact that it’s made by the same author alone will attract plenty of fans. The only problem is that there are a huge amount of sequels and hyped anime adaptations coming out October so it might get overshadowed.

A silent voice was already a big hit before anime.
I don't think to your eternity is not likely to take off.
It is mostly likely to be around or slightly above the current number of runway.

I think the only banger Kodansha is betting on is tokyo revengers cause of live action. WSM in a bad spot w/ bangers and they don't wanna animate a web app series

I remember few years ago thinking about Shonen Magazine being kinda slow with anime adaptations and so many popular series like Hoshino, Me wo Tsubutte, Real Account, Acma:Game, Kamisama no Iuutori, Wagatsuma-san, GE, AKB49, A-Bout, Gamaran, Cage of Eden, Yankee-kun and many others never got a single anime adaptation but now literally anything that survives, gets one kkkk

I’m sad that GE and cage of Eden didn’t get a anime adaptation.

Orient is ranked #8 for manga series that readers want to see animated (first half of 2020)

Every Blue Lock chapter is finally scanlated. If I have time, I'm creating later a Blue Lock manga thread (of if anyone wants to create it, you can do it).
