Just people who wants to know, Medaka is currently ranking 44th and Akaboshi is in 269th place. I think the ranking increase more when selling date is near, which tankouban for Medaka and Akaboshi going to be release this Friday.

It was mentioned before but the wild ups and downs of Amazon rankings are due to that relatively few people pre - order so four or five new reserves can push them up very high, or a few extra reserves by the items in front of them can push them down quite a bit. The differential is what I find most interesting, not the actual rank.

Akaboshi's cover looks good, but Medaka's cover looks bit boring. Plus, looks like there is first human in Mago's cover.

I'm not surprised Akaboshi's cover trumped Medaka's. the colour art for akaboshi is quite good. Now this is funny, Akaboshi's cover is much better, but Medaka has much better pre-orders from Amazon, both elements which may or may not be relevant at all, how fun.

Well, I think Amano's artwork is way better than Akatsuki's artwork. Amano's plot-making isn't very good, but everyone should know that Amano's artwork is one of top class.

I'm not sure this is just me or not, but I feel like most of axed series has really good quality of covers, as compared to early survived series' volumes, like cover of Asklepios and Hoopmen.

Well, I think Amano's artwork is way better than Akatsuki's artwork. Amano's plot-making isn't very good, but everyone should know that Amano's artwork is one of top class artists.

I'm not sure this is just me or not, but I feel like most of axed series has really good quality of covers, as compared to early survived series' volumes, like cover of Asklepios and Hoopmen.

I sorta meant just on this cover, I find Akaboshi's cover much more appealing.

Akira Akatsuki could have done better with the volume 1 cover I agree. It isn't as bland as Bleach covers but still could have done more with it.

Also Medaka's boobs in this are the size of watermelons almost.

Absolutely loving the Mago cover. Akaboshi's is good too.

Toriko's seems bland at first glance but the GT Robots are made of win. Mago covers are always great, this one is no exception. Reborn is epic fail but at least volume 26 has a nice cover.

Akaboshi's even better then I imagined, the cover that is, Medaka's as normal as I suspected, but what can you expect from that kind of manga.

I have always liked the mago covers. And yet again, I like the mago a lot

I also agree with people saying that akaboshi's cover looks good. yeah it definitely looks nice

Byakuran in color look really cool. Eyeshield's cover is good, if only Monta and Shin also appears on the cover.

seems like Shueisha will be pocketing another huge profit with that, along with Naruto, Bleach and OP volumes.

I wonder if there's any reason why psyren's volume selling are always postponed to some other manga

eg:
mago 8 (currently at chapter 76) in december
toriko 7 (currently at chapter 66) in december
psyren 8 (currently at chapter 88) in november

-> so my guess: mago's and toriko's better selling rates must be the reason, no?
