Apparently the new series HANDS is about a man whose wife and kid have died, running away with a mysterious girl.

Whelp, that's a pretty heavy premise for a series. I'm a bit bummed out about Kanojo no Yasei, but looking at some of the more recent chapters, it seems to have taken several pretty wild turns along the way from its initial premise.

I kind of disagree on that, the latest chapters are not that bad and imo the author had to make something big out of the outcome of this fight. Plus, there always has been a little mystic side in the serie so I'm not that chocked.

Interesting that he's the editor for 2 of the 3 new series that I've been enjoying the most and hopefully they'll be able to succeed. Good seeing Kubo-san getting the lead color page. It seems to be getting a pretty good impression despite its relatively simplistic-looking artstyle.
