Boku Girl suddenly looks a lot more comfortable this week, huh

Must be a popularity surge from both tanks coming out. It saw a late bump from Volume 1 since there were supply issues. Then Volume 2 came out only a month later, and it seemed like they prioritized bookstore supply over online retailers for the first couple days. (Not to mention they probably printed a larger initial run)

And as TXC mentioned: Both volumes have been ranking incredibly well for debut volumes of a newer author. (Technically his 2nd series, but the 1st was a short video game adaptation) Volume 1 was hampered the first month by supply issues, but Volume 2 peaked at like #35 or something, and both have been staying inside the top 100 for manga sales for a decent period of time. I'd love to know the actual sales numbers, but I don't think it's been enough to rank on Oricon, so we'll probably never know.

Just got my Volume 2 in the mail, and the back page lists Volume 3 for a Sept 19th release date. Also: The back has a hnnngh-worthy several page omake featuring Loki-chan.

I've also been surprised at the popularity of Himouto! Umaru-chan. It's not that it's bad by any means, but it doesn't really stand out to me over many of the other cute/moe pandering series out there.

The lead color for Kakuriyo Monogatari in the next issue is to commemorate the series first anniversary, though I'm not sure the series will active survive long after that. After reading this week's chapter I think it's definitely heading towards its end.

No really. The first 4 volumes get several reprints. In addition, the fifth volume, which will be released Sept. 19, is not advertised as the last.

Rikudou is awesome, it's the best new series in a while. I feel bad for Mongrel by saying this but Rikudou is heaps better and it shows in its reception. It's been ranking high for a while now. Also it's the first time I'm actually seeing a series get lead color between ch10-12 in WYJ ever since I began following the magazine one year ago (well as far as new authors in the magazine are concerned anyway)

Rikudo deserves its placements, it went full on dark mode from minute one and it is paying off. That first chapter specifically was insane. The series is solid. Right now Young Jump is my favourite magazine in Japan, so many good titles and even the newish series look sgood. (boku girl/Rikudo and Youkai Shoujo(heard this one is ending :/)
Rikudo is one of the better works in the magazine right now, and I'm saying that noting that the magazine is really strong. I'm still getting the raws weekly to read the magazine but ye Edited Mangas for a series as good as it would be justified imo.

Finally finished Kingdom 2, I hope next in line they get back to it after terraformars and tokyo ghoul air, that cliffhanger :/

Yep, thought so, after reading the last chapter. I'll be having lots of fun translating the 32 volumes I still need to do. I should be able to start back on that soon.

That's just going off the fact that there are four BDs listed on Amazon at the moment, so there's still a chance it can be more episodes. I really hope that's the case, since I cannot imagine how they'd reach some of the stuff in the preview in 12 episodes without cutting out entire volumes.

I hadn't read 81 Diver at all, but skimmed a chapter from one of the recent issues. Sure is "going out with a bang" I guess. Or ... falling out with a bang I guess?
