Wow, twice times 2th for Golden Kamuy and color page next issue. The manga is doing very well.

anyway, have you guys noticed that ever since LoGH comicalization started it never dropped out the top 3 in the ranking? even the uranked chapters were always among the first three manga in the toc, I'm curious to see how the first volume will do

Thanks captian obvious. To me it seems the background art was drawn separated from his acutal manuscript? The article is only talking about the "manuscript of the background art" - could it be the assitants draw first the background and then he adds the characters etc.

Thats why I asked why would they need to work in the same room. They can just copy and paste the backrounds wherever he wants. Erase or crop the excess.

Physically copy it using a copy machine, then use one of those cutter type pens to cut it from the paper, then overlay his character art on top of it, and then go to the scanner to make a copy of this.

I know that Oda e.g. works differently and in Bakuman assistants were giving the original pages to fill in the back ground as far as I remember.

I think ideally, they try to have them all or mostly work from the same office space (mangaka + assistants), but I suppose that isn't always the case. Easier to seek input in person rather than having each assistant ringing up the author on skype for something constantly.

Kaguya is moving from Miracle Jump to Young Jump, starting with issue 17 in March. I think Jasmin also ended this month if anyone cares about that.

Terra Formars concluded with Chapter 173, next part should be handling Earth. Should be starting in the next issue since it ends with "TO BE CONTINUED"
