Kaguya-sama ch 138 had an interesting bit of dialogue, where they said the in series "middle" jump magazine allowed sex scenes but only if they're under 4 pages, do we know if that's actually true for this magazine?

I always figured it was stricter on sexual stuff than some of the competitors but it's interesting seeing a series discuss it.

I mean, I guess there is an argument to be made about the level of explicity, but Tokyo Ghoul:re's sex scene went on for longer than 4 pages (roughly 6 pages depending on how you want to count it).

From some spoilers online, Makaze ga Fuku is moving to Tonari no Young Jump starting from March, with this upcoming chapter being the last in WYJ.

No surprise, absolutely disastrous sales. From what I know, it hasnt charted, not even ONCE on Shoseki. WYJ needs to get its act together with newbies, really.

Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai gets Live Action Adaptation.
Hirano Sho will act as Shirogane Miyuki while Hashimoto Kanna will act as Shinomiya Kaguya. The Movie will release on Sept 6th in Japan.

TOC Issue 14, Tiempo, Douji Gunkan and MoMo are absent. Not surprised for Boku ra wa Mahou, very unappealing concept for me. Sales were poor as well.

Everything I love moves to Tonari no YJ eventually. It continuing at all is still a big deal to me as a fan of Teppei Fukushima, but it still stings a little. Fingers crossed it doesn’t go as off the rails as Tonari no Akujo has since the move

Kawaiisounine looks like a bomb as well from raws. It seems it revolves around a MC male-female friend-3rd girl love triangle. MC meets that 3rd girl when she was bleeding (what CP showed). Meanwhile, MC seems to be aroused by that and draws that girl in multiple abusing positions as a fantasy fetish (he is ashamed of that from what I understand, but still wtf). It might shift to psychological horror if mangaka plays this well, but the tone is so off. I have no idea what direction it will take from now on.

Oh gag, that sounds awful. What's up with some of these crazy premises popping up in here lately? I get it's a fetish thing, but still, I don't see the appeal whatsoever. Hopefully this one will get the usual WYJ treatment and be out the door soon enough

I adored Poor, Genki, but with the huge caveat that I want it to be as disturbing as Tonari no Akujo was(before it went off the rails). Like if it goes a more sincere route it’ll lose me.

Not that... I mean being like Tonari no Akujo is kind of a huge negative as well, popularity-wise.

I am glad they chose Shuttle Eyes but it strikes me more as a Jump shonen than something for YJ. Maybe that will be a good thing for this magazine.

Oof, Meguru Haru and We are Magical Boys deserved better than this. Meguru Haru always had optics against it though. Like at first glance the series looks well iffy.
